Idea: A Survivor Season of survivors

 

Some of you might be confused by the title of this post. What does it mean exactly? Wouldn’t every season have Survivors on it since that is what the contestants are known as? Well, what I mean by that is that some people call themselves survivors when they have gone through some sort of experience, often negative, that they are said to have survived.

 

Would this work? Some might question whether or not some would want to be known as a survivor of whatever it is that they went through. Unless they are open with everyone to the point of wanting it and themselves known as that with every single contestant on this hypothetical season, then it shouldn’t happen. Would a cancer survivor want to be known as that by simply being on a show?

 

Thus, I don’t know if such an idea would work on this show at all in the end. It is an idea, but it might not be a good idea or one that should be done on this show. Would you want to know someone like that or not? If you had survived something, is that how you would want to be labeled on TV for quite possibly the rest of your life? That is what makes the idea just that: an idea. It isn’t one that might be worth doing depending on how some people feel about it. But it is an idea for a Survivor season.
