Episode 37.6

I had a dream about the season of Survivor called Redemption Island. There wasn’t much to the dream. It just seemed to imply that a contestant from it had died. It didn’t say who. I wouldn’t know who would be the first to die from that season or why they would die. I guess that we’ll have to wait and find out what will happen later.

There’s another missionary that I think that you should pray for. His name is Duane Meissner and he is based in Belize. He doesn’t work there alone so if you wanted to find other people in this country to support, it would work out well too. There’s a video as well about him.

I forgot to keep track of how many men have found idols. But China brought two more men to the count of who has found idols. In Survivor: China, Todd found an idol and gave it to James. James then found the other idol, being the first person in Survivor history to hold two idols at once. Ultimately, in one of the best Survivor blindsides ever, both idols were flushed as he was voted out without playing either of them at a tribal council.

What’s interesting about today, October 31st, is that it is Reformation Day, the day that Martin Luther nailed the 95 Thesis to the door of a church. It is widely celebrated among Lutherans to this very day. So I like the fact that a season of this theme can air an episode on an important church day. But enough of my ramblings.

In the first segment of the show, Angelina explains that she only voted against Lyrsa since she wanted Natalie’s jacket. Lyrsa thinks that this should have been beneath her. Meanwhile, everyone seems to enjoy the fact that Natalie was voted out. The rest of the tribe thinks that Angelina should be voted out next. Christian continues to be nerdy on his tribe. I might share a video about that in the future. We then get to the reward challenge. The green tribe comes in first and the purple tribe comes in second. After the challenge, Mike wonders if he shouldn’t vote out Angelina due to the reaction that the other tribes had to her departure.

In the second segment of the show, Dan is glad that Tiva keeps winning and that he has two idols. It seems that Christian is unsure of his place on this tribe. I think that they are setting up Christian to be the nerdiest winner in Survivor history, a spot currently held by John Cochran. Gabby is upset as usual and Alison empathizes with her. Alison wants to vote out Dan. Which tribe is Davie on? I can’t even keep track as well. He is on the orange tribe. Davie thinks that there is not enough time to do a shelter thing that Elizabeth wants to do. Elizabeth gets emotional about her bad back. Carl wants her voted out now. Who isn’t a target this season?

In the third segment of the show, we get to what must be the immunity challenge. The green tribe pulls off to an early lead with all of their water releasing what it needs to the first time. The orange tribe gets it on the second trip while the purple tribe takes more than two. They have a very poor performance at this challenge in question due to people not working as well. They lose the challenge as a result. Mike is the one that did the worst in the challenge. He gets emotional talking about it afterwards. He doesn’t want to dash anyone’s dreams.

In the fourth segment of the show, Jabeni is back from their loss and Mike is thinking about the future of the game as a whole. Hopefully he doesn’t do a Travis like a Vanuatu contestant did. Angelina wants to vote out Lyrsa and Lyrsa wants to vote out Angelina. I do find it interesting that, if you check the voting records of various seasons, if two people vote against each other, one of them is often voted out. Nick wants to work with Mike. Mike is worried about the future of the other Goliaths. Maybe there is a good meme out there for him. He turns on the Goliaths and Kylo Ren shouts out: Traitor!

In the fifth segment of the show, we get to tribal council and there could be an evil hand afoot ahead. Jeff asks Nick about the strong bond between the four of them. Mike worries about a merge. The only way there wouldn’t be a merge is if there is only one member left on a tribe. Angelina thinks that there are three different things to stay in the game.

Angelina wants to stick to the plan. Those are dangerous words to live by in Survivor. Everyone has a plan. People are being flattering and this tribe seems to know only lively tribal councils. Mike thinks that everyone trusts each other. Who doesn’t actually have the trust of the tribe? I guess we will see. After the vote, it is Lyrsa who is voted out. I don’t know if that’s a good move or not.

On the next Survivor, we get to the merge and strategic plans can go awry. I had a hard time spelling that word for a bit so I didn’t know if it would work or not. Hopefully that is the word that they used in the promo. What will happen with Christian? Are they setting him up to be too obvious a target? Those people are not always voted out. They often aren’t.

Total confessional count: Christian- 15, Kara- 8, Angelina- 11, Alec- 5, Elizabeth- 10, Gabby- 12, Alison- 4, Dan- 7, Davie- 9, Lyrsa- 8, Mike- 16, Nick- 10, Carl- 6, John- 5. New confessionals this episode: John- 0, Christian- 2, Kara- 1, Angelina- 2, Alec- 0, Elizabeth- 2, Gabby- 1, Alison- 1, Dan- 1, Davie- 1, Lyrsa- 3, Mike- 4, Nick- 2, Carl- 1.

Lyrsa had three confessionals this episode. The only person who is higher than her is Mike with four. Everyone else is lower with John and Alec as the lowest with zero. As for the total confessional count, Lyrsa had eight, which is the same number as Kara. The people that are lower than her are Dan, Carl, John, Alec, and Alison with Alison as the lowest with four. Everyone else is higher with Mike as the new highest with sixteen. There’s not much else to say about this so I’ll finish this post. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Episode 37.5

It is interesting to think that this is the first season where the names of the tribes changed partway through it. We’ve never seen that before. I don’t know if Exile Island will return for any more of this season or not. What I do know is that there was some contestant this season who might have had some sort of controversy with a social media account of theirs. I forget who it might be. Maybe if I knew of someone who could shed some light on it, then things would make sense. What was the controversy? I should look it up somewhere because I don’t know myself.

Last episode mentioned a contestant as having friends on the other side. There was a song called that from the movie The Princess and the Frog. I still haven’t seen that movie. I really should. It is one of the few cell animated movies not to be on VHS. I wonder if people care that they don’t make cell animated movies anymore. Anyways, enjoy this song.

Going back to the idol count, I should point out that Fiji was the first season to have the idol as we know it today. There were lots of different firsts with it. Yau-Man found it at camp after learning that it was there in the first place. He kept it and used it to save himself from elimination. The other camp’s idol was found by Mookie. He gave it to Alex to play and Alex wasted it when another was successfully voted out instead. Earl found the last idol of the season and played it by default when he last could. He did not get rid of any votes this time because of it. There are still no women in this timeline who have found an idol. That makes the running tally men: 6, women: 0.

I don’t know offhand if there are other contestants that might need praying for. I might want to check at least one of them to make sure that they are good now. But I figured that I might as well get into all of the missionaries that I support right now. There are four of them and the one that I’ve been supporting the longest are my aunt and uncle, Cindy and Steve Schumacher. They are both Survivor fans and have not seen any season since Cagayan was on. Once they are back here long term, I might buy them all of the seasons that they missed. What I do know if that they work in Ghana and if you would like to learn more about them, then click on this link for more information about them.

There was a comment on an old blog post in this blog. I might have to go back to the old post to do more of a proper reply to what they said. It was a while ago that I did the top ten jury speeches in my mind. But I don’t think that I should have done it because of my lack of knowledge about such things and the fact that I don’t really remember as well what all of them were.

I planned to do other jury based posts, but never wrote them and deleted the ideas since I couldn’t think of what to say in them. But I will, if I can remember to, that is, reply to this commenter about what he or she said. I do like the comment even if this person disagreed in a way. This person was respectful about it, which not everyone is. But enough of my ramblings.

In the first segment of the show, Carl is introduced to the tribe. Kara is confused by what happened at the tribal council and Alec’s betrayal. She has some scrambling to do. Meanwhile, we see the Tiva camp. Gabby was worried until she saw the sun. And here I was thinking that Tony and Ziva had a daughter together. Natalie is happy about the weather that is storming around her. That cements her as a villain. When do heroes enjoy terrible weather? The weather floods the Tiva camp. People are evacuated from the island for the first time since season 33.

In the second segment of the show, we get to the Jabeni tribe after the storm. I wonder if they had to separate the three tribes in three different areas or if they were put together. All of the tribe see one disaster after another. But we don’t get much time back as we get to the reward challenge. The reward this time is chickens. The second place tribe gets a dozen eggs. The orange tribe wins and purple tribe winds up second.

Kara wants to turn on her charm on her tribe after the vote. She tries to bond with Elizabeth but Elizabeth wants to vote her out. There are arguments over the eggs that Lyrsa thinks is causing problems. Everyone hates Natalie, it seems.

In the third segment of the show, Christian wants to be part of the tribe of men. Dan looks for a second idol. He finds a clue to an idol which is at the challenge. I wonder why they don’t normally do this. He needs to not be caught doing it. The orange and green tribes win immunity with the purple tribe just barely losing. I couldn’t tell for sure if Dan got the idol. I think that he did, but it’s a bit hard to tell. Lyrsa wants to vote out Natalie, although the odds are against the Davids.

In the fourth segment of the show, Natalie wants Nick to be voted out. Angelina wants Lyrsa’s jacket and she gets Natalie to do the dirty work. Nick learns that Lyrsa is actually the target. Natalie wants to get Nick’s jacket. Nick wants to get rid of Natalie and tells Mike about this plan. Mike wants Natalie voted out only he wants to make sure that Angelina is okay with it first. I still don’t know what’s with the jacket thing. Angelina questions if they should vote out another Goliath. But will the vote matter?

In the fifth segment of the show, we get to tribal council. Angelina wants to stick Goliath strong. But Lyrsa doesn’t think that this should be the case. Natalie is never the center of controversy on her tribe. Lyrsa knows how to cook right. Mike has issues with Natalie. Angelina has had difference with her. All that Natalie is interested in is jackets. It is someone or the jackets.

Natalie wants help with the jackets and Angelina was the one who was interested in it. Mike talks about all of the things that are going on with the vote. She has the last word saying that she doesn’t want it. Yeah, sure, right, uh-huh. After the votes are cast, it is Natalie who is thankfully voted out. Angelina asks for her jacket as she leaves. Natalie keeps it.

On the next Survivor, Mike doesn’t trust Angelina, enemies become friends, and Elizabeth cannot stand stupid people. That’s a modern day problem. Nobody can stand them and that’s how many issues in this world happen because there are far too many stupid people in them.

Total confessional count: Alison- 3, Dan- 6, Davie- 8, Lyrsa- 5, Mike- 12, Nick- 8, Carl- 5, Natalie- 9, John- 5, Christian- 13, Kara- 7, Angelina- 9, Alec- 5, Elizabeth- 8, Gabby- 11. New confessionals this episode: Alec- 1, Elizabeth- 1, Gabby- 2, Alison- 1, Dan- 1, Davie- 1, Lyrsa- 1, Mike- 2, Nick- 2, Carl- 1, Natalie- 2, John- 0, Christian- 1, Kara- 2, Angelina- 3.

I know that I have missed or probably missed some confessionals as usual and might have given some to the wrong people. But I think that you should know that by now. Anyways, Natalie had two new ones this episode, the same number as Kara, Gabby, Mike, and Nick. The only person higher than them is Angelina with three. Everyone else is lower with John as the lowest with zero. As for the total number of confessionals, Natalie had nine, the same number as Angelina. The people who are higher are Christian, Gabby, and Mike, with Christian being the highest with thirteen. Everyone else is lower with Alison as the lowest with three. I’m not sure what else there is to say so I’ll end this post. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Episode 37.4

I don’t know who here in this group is a fan of VeggieTales, but if you are, I plan to share at least two of the videos from it here. I don’t know if I’ll do this or not. I might share more. But considering how they did Dave and the Giant Pickle about David and Goliath, I should share the silly song from it at the half way point or merge of this season. Another song from another story featuring King David, done in the video King George and His Ducky, would be a good one to share, especially given the showmance of the seasons that have happened.

The idol from Cook Islands was found by Yul. It was seen as far too powerful that season as he was seen as practically immune with it. While they could have voted for him and gotten rid of the idol, they never did. This makes the running tally of who found an idol- men: 3, women: 0. I would mention more in this post, but I’ve decided that I don’t have time and will not mention prayers for people this post. I will just get to the episode in question after first offering an explanation.

You see, you might be wondering why this post is late. I didn’t have time until now to watch it, which is why I didn’t watch it before. I have family over and thought that it would be best to just watch the show when I could, which was on Friday. Thus, I’m writing and publishing the post today after having missed my chance previously. But enough of my ramblings.

In the first segment of the show, we get to Jeff bringing people into the place where they are being brought into. Bi is deciding to leave the game. Is she quitting? That’s so weird! All because of an injury that isn’t serious enough to get her pulled? This doesn’t make sense to me. The tribe swap is somehow considered unpredictable. They are split into three tribes and one person doesn’t have a buff. The tribes now have Goliaths outnumbering everyone on every tribe. Maybe this show is rigged. Carl is sent to Exile Island and the old tribe names are gone. Christian talks about the gerrymandering that is going on with the new tribes. I don’t know if gerrymandering is really as bad a problem as people think in reality. On Survivor, it is.

People on the new orange tribe get used to their new home. I don’t know if keeping track of the names of the tribes will be important or not so I’ll just call them by the color. Natalia is concerned that Kara is connecting too well with her opponents. On Exile Island, Carl learns that there is an advantage that he has to get quickly before the tide takes it away, thus explaining the confusing promo. At first, the edit tries to trick us into thinking that the advantage might have floated away. Man, some people really hate floaters in this game. But he does get an interesting advantage: an idol nullifier. It comes with some stipulations and I don’t know if he’ll get only one chance at using it.

In the second segment of the show, the purple tribe appears to be weak, according to Mike. Once again, Natalie bosses people around and people don’t like it. Nick wants to work with the Goliaths in the game. Mike tells Nick about how Dan has an idol. We then go back to the green tribe which was named after the most notable showmance on NCIS. Christian wants to bring forth the charmpocalpse, which is the name of this episode. Gabby worries about his close links with people. But Christian thinks that they are doing good things together. But she’s still worried.

In the third segment of the show, we get to what is probably the immunity challenge. It is the challenge and the first place tribe will get a reward in addition to immunity. Didn’t I say that would be a good way to do things? First place should win reward and immunity, second place, just immunity. I forget just how long ago I suggested that. The green tribe comes in first. Despite trailing for a while and struggling at the end, the purple tribe comes in second. This means that the orange tribe will go to tribal council. Kara thinks that the vote will be straightforward.

In the fourth segment of the show, we get back to the orange tribe after their loss. Elizabeth wants to find the idol and takes Davie with her. She doesn’t know that he has the idol. But there could be an idol for this tribe. Davie tells the former Goliaths about this. What is in about being on the wrong side of the numbers that gets the minority to ensure their own defeat? But things get more scrambled now than a great egg breakfast. People want to turn on Natalia maybe. Alec considers flipping, but knows that there are dangers with doing it since the Davids would have the numbers if the vote happens this way.

In the fifth segment of the show, we get to the tribal council at hand. Or is it at foot? Or maybe at nose? Natalia thinks that the vote is easy. Davie thinks that Elizabeth should be voted out as she is too much of a threat to win down the line. She’s got friends on the other side. Are you ready? I’m going have to put a link to that song in here now. I still haven’t seen that movie. People think that Elizabeth is a threat. Alec openly whispers something into Elizabeth’s ear. Natalia questions everything now. After some side conversations, we get to the vote. No idols are played. Natalia is voted out. I did not get why there were three people voted for.

On the next Survivor, there are different storms following the fallout of the vote and the issues against Natalie continue. There is also yet another terrible storm that is affecting people. I don’t think that I have seen storms this bad on one single season before. I know that they have had to evacuate all of the contestants for a day before, but the storms seem to be ruling this season. Perhaps that will be more of a theme to this season…

Total confessional count: John- 5, Christian- 12, Kara- 5, Angelina- 6, Alec- 4, Bi- 3, Elizabeth- 7, Gabby- 9, Alison- 2, Dan- 5, Davie- 7, Lyrsa- 4, Mike- 10, Nick- 6, Natalia- 5, Carl- 4, Natalie- 7. New confessionals this episode: Mike- 2, Nick- 1, Natalia- 2, Carl- 1, Natalie- 1, John- 1, Christian- 4, Kara- 2, Angelina- 1, Alec- 2, Bi- 0, Elizabeth- 3, Gabby- 2, Alison- 0, Dan- 2, Davie- 4, Lyrsa- 0.

I’ve decided not to tell you what the total for each people is or means going forward. You can count with the two people who were eliminated in this episode, Bi and Natalia, and see what their numbers are with the others going forward. Now I wish that I could say and knew for sure whether or not I will be back on Wednesdays for the rest of this season until Advent. I should be there for as often as I can be, but I know that the episode before Thanksgiving could get tricky. We’ll see what happens and I hope to be on time as often as possible. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Episode 37.3

As usual, with schedule changes on different networks, I might as well explain what shows I like that are competing with Survivor. I will probably not watch as a result. You see, Riverdale is still on against it as it was last season. But I do plan to watch it later online. While The Blacklist is no longer competing with it, I have decided that I’m no longer interested in the show. Chicago Med now airs against is so I will be no longer watching it as a result. It wasn’t that interesting anyways, although I still like it. The Goldbergs is still against it and now it airs with American Housewife. Guess that I won’t be watching either of them. We’ll see what else happens with changes in the future.

Sometimes, a person’s life can fall apart due to no fault of their own. Other times, it does fall apart due to their own doing. You may have heard about all of the problems that Michael Skupin from Australia has had. While he recovered from the fire that he fell into, he still wound up drunk driving a lot. Then, he got incarcerated for running possessing child pornography and other issues that I can’t spell. I think that we should pray that he would make better choices in life and not do anything illegal again.

I don’t know why I thought that women have found idols more than men. But as long as I am keeping track of which gender found an idol each season, let’s get with Survivor: Panama. It had only one idol and it was found by Terry. Thus, the running tally of which gender found an idol is men: 2, women 0. I will only keep track of who found an idol in each new season and not count a person if they found more than one idol. But enough of my ramblings.

In the first segment of the show, Davie talks about his idol and feeling out of the vote. He talks about the vote to Christian. The Mason/Dixon line is in control. Well, that’s what they think for now, anyways. We see Carl wondering about what happened. Bi thinks that she understand the blindside. I do not know if everyone knows how the vote went down. People want to vote out Gabby who is wrongly blamed for being part of the blindside. Things continue to go well on the Goliath tribe. I am missing some of who is talking in these confessionals. People think that Natalie is being too bossy. Mike is bonding with Jeremy, but not in a homosexual way, that’s for sure. Jeremy talks about his grandfather who died of Alzheimer’s disease. Mike is worried that Jeremy could be bad in some way.

In the second segment of the show, Christian is talking about slam town. I don’t think that I get this at first, but then I think he is talking about jail. But how would he know if John on the other tribe was ever there? Gabby thinks that she in a good alliance with Christian, but she doesn’t know that she has been the one blamed on the vote. There is more talk on this tribe about it.

People on the Goliath tribe worry about a tribe swap that they feel might be coming soon. But I don’t think that there will be one. Man, I am having an unusually hard time writing this post. There’s a weird talk that Jeremy did that might get him targeted. Has he never seen Big Brother? When do group talks end well? Jeremy then tells everyone about Dan’s idol. It is true, but not everyone sees it as a good move. In fact, it seems that no one does.

In the third segment of the show, the rain is pouring down really hard when they have to start the next challenge. What’s with the crazy weather? I would hope that the rain keeps up. That way, it won’t come down. The reward is comfort. Why give them conform at all? Give them tarps. Natalie wants to do the puzzle and others sit out because of it. This makes me wonder if that will affect the challenge. I think that Bi hurt her knee. Some woman on the orange tribe did. Sure enough, Natalie isn’t able to win the challenge. This will affect the game, but will it lead her to be voted out? Natalia openly talks after the challenge and later in a confessional about how she feels Natalie should be voted out.

In the fourth segment of the show, we get back to the David tribe after they win. Gabby is glad that they one. Bi has an injured knee. Didn’t I speculate that there could be another medical evacuation? It would be nice to put three women medievacs on one list. Natalie thinks that she’s in danger. Jeremy thinks that she isn’t self aware which makes you wonder about someone who acted carelessly before is right about that. I cannot make sense of all that is going on during this time.

Based on what one of the women said, I will say that if you don’t want to get a ticket, then don’t speed. Natalie and Jeremy get into a verbal confrontation of sorts where they are constantly talking over each other. She is doing a very good job at digging her own grave. And here I was thinking that James Clement was the person who dug graves.

In the fifth segment of the show, we get to tribal council. How do they still have fire there? Will this be a time like when someone’s torch is already out when they are voted out? They talk about the weather of the show. Have seasons ever been like this before? I don’t remember storms being this bad except for maybe the 33rd season. But that was only a temporary thing. Jeremy goes on a rant about Natalie and he might not seem that great in the way he does it. I think they are both bad. They think that neither of them would be at the other one’s funeral and neither would anyone else on the tribe. I do not know enough about the four Survivor funerals thus far to see if former cast members came there or not.

I miss things here when my mother comes home and talks some. Thus, I miss a lot of what is going on. What is going on into the vote? John wants to keep the tribe strong. Thus, we get to the vote in question. No idols are played. Jeremy doesn’t have an idol, does he? It is hard to keep track of this early into the game. Jeremy is voted out. Why? That doesn’t make sense. Wait, yes it does. I do not fully get it, though.

On the next Survivor, someone has reached a breaking point and it seems like there will be a tribe swap this season after all despite the tribes’ names. I guess we will see for sure what else happens when the people who are on tribes we barely got to know wind up on other tribes entirely.

Total confessional count: Davie- 3, Lyrsa- 4, Mike- 8, Nick- 5, Natalia- 3, Carl- 3, Natalie- 6, Jeremy- 7, John- 4, Christian- 8, Kara- 3, Angelina- 5, Alec- 2, Bi- 3, Elizabeth- 4, Gabby- 7, Alison- 2, Dan- 3. New confessionals this episode: Kara- 1, Angelina- 2, Alec- 0, Bi- 2, Elizabeth- 0, Gabby- 2, Alison- 1, Dan- 0, Davie- 1, Lyrsa- 0, Mike- 4, Nick- 2, Natalia- 2, Carl- 1, Natalie- 2, Jeremy- 4, John- 1, Christian- 1.

I wish that I didn’t know for sure that some numbers are missing. It’s hard to be good at this. Anyways, Jeremy had seven confessionals this episode, the same number as Gabby. The only people who have eight confessionals and they are Christian and Mike. Everyone else is lower than the four of them with Alec and Alison as the lowest with two apiece. As for the new confessional count, Jeremy had four, the highest of the episode tied with Mike. The lowest this episode are Lyrsa, Alec, Elizabeth, and Dan with no new confessionals. I guess that we will wait until the next episode where a swap with an odd number of people will happen, making me wonder if a twist besides the swap will be introduced or not.

I’m getting tired of all of these swaps and they shouldn’t name the tribes what they did and swap the tribes. Do a season without them for God’s sake! Please? Pretty, pretty please? Now was your perfect chance. I guess we’ll see if this overused premise can succeed or fail. I felt swaps were better in earlier seasons. Maybe if they waited until later or didn’t do it twice, it would be better. Let’s hope this is the only swap this season. I still like this show, but all these swaps make me question if I should. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Episode 37.2

There’s a lot to potentially talk about in this introduction so I might as well get to talking about some of the things that I want to. As usual, the evacuation of a contestant makes me want to come up with all of the new groupings that I need to of all the medically evacuated people who have not played since they were pulled from the game. I don’t know if that will happen again and I need to figure out what’s going on with the next season’s twist at some point. I doubt it’s that again, but it could be.

First, let’s do a reminder of who all is eligible for this idea. We have Bruce from Panama, Gary from Fiji, Joe Dowdle from Tocantins, Mike Borassi from Samoa, Kourtney from One World, Dana from Phillipines, Shamar from Caramoan, Erik from Micronesia and Caramoan, Terry from Panama and Cambodia, Neal from Kaoh Rong, Joe DeCampo from Kaoh Rong, and Pat from this season. That’s 12 people to group. And with them in groups of three, that’s four groups to create.

Group one will be Erik, Joe DeCampo, and Bruce. Group two will be Terry, Joe Dowdle, and Neal. Group three will be Dana, Shamar, and Gary. This makes the fourth group Kourtney, Mike Borassi, and Pat. Do you think that these are good groupings? I’d be okay with any of them playing again. And I think that it would be best if they were pulled around the same time in the game and didn’t play the same seasons as each other.

There is a relative of mine who sometimes comes a week and lives here while doing other things in the meantime. It can take up a lot of time and I might not be able to watch everything I want to. This could affect my blogs. I am going to copy this message in other blogs of mine so they will know. Blogs might wind up being later than I want them to be in terms of when they are posted as long as these people are here. I’ll write notes about what happened if there are changes. The rotation that I have on Mondays will not be affected as long as I can help it. Sorry if things are confusing as a result.

I should post a warning that posts this season might be religious in some way. Hopefully you don’t mind this as it should be a thing for just this season. You can always just skip to the part where I talk about the episode in question as I’m sure a lot of you do already.

Something that I got a bit wrong in the last post is that Gretchen Cordy is now Gretchen Hunter. I don’t know how I got that wrong since I’m facebook friends with her. Now when it comes to who you should pray for this post, there was flooding where Mitchell Olsen of Survivor: Australia lives so we should pray for that situation and hope that it goes away, if it hasn’t already.

Since a good theme for this season involves the bible, I might as well talk about the potential for links to missionaries to support in the future possibly showing up in this blog. I might do them in the event that I can’t think of a contestant to pray for.

The episode before this one had a person bringing up who had found idols in the past. Now I forgot to do full detailed research in time to write the rest of this post. So I’ll start with just one of the seasons and go forward from there in each post. I’ll keep a running tally as I go along as to how many men have found one and how many women have. Starting with Guatemala, the first person to find an idol was Gary who is a man, needless to say. This makes the tally 1 man, 0 women.

I might have fun sharing some videos this season provided that I can find them when I want to. What I do think makes a good song for this season would be one called the Voice of Truth. The second verse has the theme of this season in it.

Another song that would work well this season is Praise You in this Storm considering all that happened during the last episode. We might see a lot more storms during this season. I don’t know when this had filmed, but if it was during a rainy season, that would explain any issues.

Before I start talking about this episode in question, I might as well ponder whether or not there will be more medical evacuations in this season. I fear that they might have already spoiled that there will be at least one other one. But I don’t know if it will happen yet or not. But enough of my ramblings.

In the first segment of the show, we are back at the tribe after losing Pat. More rain comes down on them. I hope that it keeps up. That way, it won’t come down. Needless to say, the other tribe is dragged down by the rain, making them have a miserable experience as well. Nobody knew who might have been voted out, although Christian thinks that he knew that Nick was the target. Nick feels that he does well with Christian but Christian thought that Nick would probably be voted out. Did two white people just make an alliance name after something associated with slavery?

Both of the tribes are getting a fire making kit and tarp for free. Will it be taken back? Remember how the Millennials versus Gen x season began. Dan is too obvious that he is with Kara. I don’t think that all showmances are doomed. Remember Rob and Amber? People talk about alliances on that tribe. It is a bit hard to tell which tribe is which right now. What I do know is that this is the Goliath tribe has many people who think they are in charge and pairing off. Jeremy find’s Dan’s idol and tells Mike about it. On the David tribe, Davie looks for food and sees string on a tree where he finds an idol.

In the second segment of the show, someone was wearing a tight shirt. Why? Why not wear something that is as close to comfortable as they will allow? Carl wants to get rid of a woman. What I do know for sure is that a woman is more likely to be voted out first than a man. And there isn’t been a person voted out yet. Lyrsa learns that Carl wants to vote out her out after Elizabeth says so.

It’s all a bunch of he said, she said, ain’t it funny how rumors are spread? Like I know something yall don’t know and whatever the lyrics to dirt road anthem are. Natalie learns that she is the target and thinks that he isn’t a threat. But this isn’t when you should be voting out threats yet. She seems to be making things hard for herself. Jeremy tries to help Natalie out. But nobody wants advice that they did not ask for. You’d think that we all would know for sure. This talk makes Jeremy want to vote Natalie out. My mother thinks she’s dumb. I missed a confessional this episode.

In the third segment of the show, we get to a challenge. This one must be for immunity. The ladder part seems very dangerous. Goliath tribe takes an early lead. Jeff thinks that it might be a blowout. The David tribe drifts away from the platform. It seems like they might be even at the puzzle, although it seems like the David tribe isn’t doing it right. Goliath wins as a result. Christian thinks that things will be crazy after the challenge in question.

In the fourth segment of the show, the David tribe is bummed about the loss. It seems that Gabby is getting weird vibes from the people as it seems that they won’t talk to her. Lyrsa wants to vote out the possibly untrustworthy Jessica. They think that she is aligned with too many people. Gabby wants to make sure that people play like Christian play with her. Will the vote go the way people want it to go? I guess we will see if Christian gets his way or not.

In the fifth segment of the show, we get to tribal council. People take in their surroundings. It is a cool set. They say that they are a cohesive unit, but I don’t know if it is or not. Lyrsa thinks that she is the target, but I don’t know if she is or not. Christian talks about how no one knows what is going on, even if people think that they do. What are the needs of the tribe? Christian might talk too much, but he could be more quirky than annoying, hopefully. We get to the votes next. No idols are played. Jessica is the person who is voted out of the game.

On the next Survivor, someone feels alone and if it doesn’t happen, then people will go crazy. But is the craziness just on one side or it is on other ones as well? I guess that we will see for sure what strange things might happen later this season.
