The Case for and Against the Winners of Survivor 40

I don’t know how many posts I’ll be able to do in this blog about the upcoming season. I don’t think that I will be doing a post on this season where I predict the placement for it since edge of extinction takes the usual Survivor format and takes a sledge hammer to it. This might be the last post that I want to do on this season in question as I don’t know what else I might say. I heard that there will be a special on this show the week before the premiere. I might blog about that if I want to. Before I do that, I might as well explain what I mean by this post’s title.

You see, this might be a sort of cast assessment of the players from this season. But it will not be me prediction how they will place. It will instead be me focusing on the pros and cons of their games in the past, specially, which games they won in addition to any others they might have played. I will mention stuff that was good about them and stuff that was bad. I will not make any judgments as to who I thought was the best or worst among them. This will also largely only include thoughts that just I had about them while largely ignoring other fan’s thoughts. Still, let’s get to this post.

Ethan pros: He was and still is a very popular winner from this show. He survived cancer. He was the first person to win by a vote where one person didn’t decide the results. He made it further than all of the other winners on All-Stars.

Ethan cons: He won a season that just seemed easier than many others. Part of his success was due to the producers putting a flawed question in a challenge and his ally, Lex, being hated as much as he was. He didn’t win the final immunity challenge.

Sandra pros: She won the game twice. She went further than any winner has in any game without being voted out the first time. She lasted longer than all the other winners on Game Changers. She can have an intense way of playing and still others get voted out before her.

Sandra cons: She sucked the most recent time she played the game. She does terrible at challenges and her allies don’t always last like she does. Her tribes before the merge often suck at some point before it happens. She has never won an individual challenge.

Amber pros: She knew who to align with and didn’t care about romantic entanglements. She knew how to be more popular and who not to piss off. Others knew she was a threat, but still helped her win. She got more than just a simple win out of Survivor. The others never were smart enough to get rid of her in the season that she won.

Amber cons: She didn’t win the first time she played. The second time was largely Rob’s game, but she rode his coattails relying on him being hated more than she was. The first time she played, she was often too emotional and didn’t do as much.

Danni pros: She was able to overcome a huge numbers disadvantage at the final seven and was able to win the game despite the fact that six other players were all against her. She won a lot of votes and had only one vote against her.

Danni cons: She wasn’t really a stand out winner and only won by voting out a better player to face off against a bad one who burned a bunch of bridges. Her season wasn’t known for having great players or ones that were very memorable.

Yul pros: He was a very smart player who knew how to stay in the game and get the votes he needed to in order to win. He knew how to manipulate Jonathan and form a great alliance after the mutiny that lead to a final four of those people.

Yul cons: He had a super powered idol that didn’t ever really leave him in danger. Ozzy might have been a better winner that season. He didn’t have as much of an impressive résumé as other people who have won the game have had. He never won immunity.

Parvati pros: Tons of new players love her and often compare herself to her. Except for Rob, she has played more days than any other winner in the game. She has only gotten voted out once. She knows how to unite with other players in the game.

Parvati cons: Her win the second time around is a bit tainted from there being a final two instead of the then usual final three. She isn’t as known for much as she could be for strategy and is often just known for being sexy instead. Is flirting a strategy?

Rob pros: He danced circles around the other players when he won, able to play one of the best social games the show had ever seen. He has always played a good game, even if he didn’t win. He can be evil and snide and still make it pretty far.

Rob cons: He had quite possibly the easiest path to the win out of all of those who have won. It took him an unprecedented four times to win the game. He never served on a Survivor jury his whole career. He beat a bunch of newbies on his fourth time playing instead of all-stars.

Sophie pros: She was able to beat two different returning players in her season. She didn’t have many issues with how the game worked. She relied on others’ unpopularity in order to last longer in the game and win it in the end.

Sophie cons: Honestly, she’s the most recent winner that I didn’t like. She was whiny and entitled. I do not know what people saw in her that was good. It didn’t seem like she deserved to win. She had quite possibly the worst edit of all the winners.

Kim pros: There was a lot of good that she did such as finding an idol that she never needed to use, making the right allies, and winning a lot of the votes against the other players. She never seemed to be in much danger when she played.

Kim cons: Other contestants were unpopular that season and were all likely to lose. Part of her game relied on the collapse of the men’s tribe that season then the dominance of the women’s tribe and her alliance that dominated the game.

Denise pros: Facing more hardships than most winners, she survived every single tribal council in one single season. She could turn on her main alliance member at the end and still get his vote to win. She never had an idol, unlike a lot of other winners.

Denise cons: She could never bring either of her tribes to winning a challenge outside of one win that came with an asterisk. The alliances were too crazy that season for much to make sense. She might not be as popular if she had actually been on a tribe that won a challenge.

Tyson pros: He’s very cool with his methods and does quite a lot to win and earn it. He can own his past mistakes and knew what to do when he played again. He knew how to keep an alliance well the season that he won as he made it to the end with it and won.

Tyson cons: He wasn’t that good the first time he played the game and was downright terrible the second time. Only one other person needed to play Survivor more to win it. Part of his game was based on the luck of not drawing a certain rock.

Tony pros: He played perhaps the most devious game of anyone who wound up able to win it. He was able to manipulate others and still win nearly every vote to win the game. He might be one of the best villains who was able to win.

Tony cons: His second game was a total bomb and bust for him and nearly everyone who saw his game that time around. He is often too mischievous for his own good. He might not have won were it not for the stupidity of another player. He never won an immunity challenge.

Natalie pros: She was able to do a lot and make risky moves when she played. She knew who to align with and was able to take out the right people. Her win wasn’t predictable to some people which made it more interesting to watch.

Natalie cons: She seemed boring when she played and didn’t leave that much of a mark. Her win might have been helped by the fact that Missy wasn’t medically evacuated when she probably should have been. She wasn’t that great a player on The Amazing Race.

Jeremy pros: It was easy for him to win since he was against very unpopular players in the end. He was very good at what he did and knew what to do and who to go to the end with. Not all of his win was about his wife like some think.

Jeremy cons: He didn’t win the first time he played the game, even though he very easily could have. It seemed weird that he was on a second chance season when he didn’t really make any notable mistakes the first time that he played like many others in that season.

Michele pros: She is a much better player and winner than many people give her credit for. She knew how to beat other players and used a twist for her advantage to do what she needed to. It was easy for her to win when all she had to do was watch other players self destruct.

Michele cons: Being able to vote out a jury member changed some of what could have happened when she played. Her edit was too invisible and didn’t give her enough credit for what she did to win. She was not as well liked by fans, although that’s not really a con to me.

Adam pros: He won more jury votes than any other winner, I believe. He made it quite far even though others knew he was a threat that should be taken out. He wasn’t selfish and just playing for himself like many others are when they play the game.

Adam cons: This may come off as mean and insensitive so here goes: part of the reason that he won was due to a sob story about his dying mother. That puts some of an emotional influence on the jury that season due to circumstances beyond his control that he was exploiting. Now that I’ve said that, I do feel bad for her death still and hope that this isn’t too rude a thing to say. I like him as a winner and not just because he was the same first name as me.

Sarah pros: She knew how to trick the other players into getting herself to go farther in the game and getting their votes to win. She was awesome and sly, relying on what she needed to in order to make it to the end and win. She knew how to manipulate others.

Sarah cons: Her first time playing the game was kind of a bust due to how short she lasted or even could have lasted. She might not have won without certain advantages. The final six was controversial due to the immunity train when she should have been gone.

Ben pros: He puts a humanizing touch on military veterans and PTSD. He knew how to play to the jury and get all that he needed to out of them. He changed how the game could be played and was able to take what he needed to out of the game for his advantage.

Ben cons: Without idols, he is nothing as he never would have made it that far. He won largely due to a twist where he would have otherwise been the last person voted out. Too many changes in the game benefitted him, making his win tainted.

Wendell pros: He made one of the best alliances and was even able to make the end with it, as much as they wanted to take each other out. He did what he needed to in order to have the right person next to him as a finalist, not even knowing the jury votes in the future.

Wendell cons: He might have the most to prove of this cast as he won due to a tie-breaker as no other winner could claim they had to do (although not everyone could have faced a tied jury). He also was only there due to a change in the game that’s now part of it that wasn’t for many seasons before it.

Nick pros: He did a lot to his own advantage even if it meant turning on his best ally. He knew what he had to do in order to win and was able to outlast those on the other tribes even when he was basically the only one left of his own original tribe still around.

Nick cons: Some of what happened with his win was due to sheer dumb luck, especially the evacuation of Pat that prevented the first tribal council from happening. He had to rely on a lot of crazy votes and others to be bigger targets.

This is more or less the end of this post now as there isn’t much else to say. Like I said, I’m not pointing out in most cases who I thought was the best winner as I tried to stick with just the facts. Who do you think has the most to prove to the other players? Do you think that any of my points are wrong or off topic? Feel free to say whatever you want.

Now something major happened with this blog that resulted in the deletion of three old posts. I will explain more of what happened later in the introduction to a post on either Survivor: Gabon or Survivor: Winners at War. Know that it means I might do random posts on both Sundays and Wednesdays until the three are made up in some way. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

All the Winners Not on Season 40

I have no idea what goes on with the casting process with Survivor so I have no way of knowing for sure how they came up with the cast of winners that they did for the current season. I don’t know who all was asked back, who might have declined being on the season, who was cut, or anything like that. I will now talk about all of the winners from the show that are not on this upcoming season. I won’t say that any of them were snubbed from not being included, although I don’t know why Richard isn’t part of this. This is largely just a post talking about them while wondering why they weren't included some of the time.

Richard from Borneo and All-Stars was the first winner and one of the most well known players from the show, at least early on in the show’s life. He was also known for being naked at one point, something that made other players uncomfortable. Even more infamously, he went to jail for not reporting his winnings from the show on his tax returns. He might still be having legal troubles and might not be able to leave the country as a result. It is possible that they didn’t want him as they feared there might be more issues with sexual harassment that they didn’t need due to what happened with Dan last season. He is the one I’m most upset is not on the new season, at least not without knowing why.

Tina from Australia, All-Stars, and Blood versus Water was popular in some ways. She is a bit on the older side of life, even though people don’t realize that as much. She would have been great to see yet another time, but she is not returning, much like a lot of the classic winners. I seem to notice that being a theme with this upcoming season.

Vecepia from Marquesas hasn’t seem to have had much of an impact on Survivor since she was in it the first time. She had been asked back for All-Stars, but I don’t know what other seasons she might have been asked back on. I’m not that upset that she’s not back and especially wouldn’t want her just so she could be a diversity hire, if you will.

Brian from Thailand is honestly the worst winner of this show in my mind. He has been seen as quite a repulsive person in some people’s minds like Jeff Probst’s. I think that the show is better off without him returning, but I don’t know for sure if he was asked back or not.

Jenna from Amazon and All-Stars is also known as a naked winner like Richard is. When she played the second time, she wound up quitting to spend time with her mother before she died. While I do think that she could return (unlike most, if not all, quitters), she might have had more going on in her life this time around or didn’t want to risk playing with her ex, Ethan.

Chris Daugherty (unsure if name is spelt right) from Vanuatu was a true underdog when he was able to win the game, overcoming a tough majority of great women players. It seems that he has never once been asked back to play the game again. I don’t know why that would be. Maybe he was asked back for this season, but I have no way of knowing this for sure.

Tom from Palau and Heroes versus Villains should be on the 40th season since he was on the 10th and 20th. But he is not. I don’t know if there is much to say about him. If they followed a pattern, they would have had other players on other seasons as well.

Aras from Panama and Blood versus Water was once described as the most boring winner ever. He does not have much status to fame, but could have had a lot to prove by playing this new season. I plan to do a post on the winners and who has more to prove. I’ll mention good things and bad things about their wins, but that’s a different post, if I make it at all.

Earl from Fiji was the first person to win unanimously. He could have had a better story overall than he did in the end, as many other people’s favorites was Yau-Man and he was voted out. There could be more of a story to Earl than we have now, but he is not back for whatever reason.

Todd from China has had a hard life after he played, largely due to his own choices of descending into alcoholism. While he has recovered from it, last I checked, he might have too many issues with it still and might not appear on this show again, outside of as a cautionary tale to others.

Bob from Gabon is the oldest winner on the show, I believe. As such, it is possible that he was deemed to be too old to compete like Rudy was for the twentieth season. Or he just isn’t part of the cast. I hope that this post isn’t becoming too redundant as I need to post something today.

JT from Tocantins, Heroes versus Villains, and Game Changers went from playing a perfect game to having one of the most disastrous second appearances on the show and did very badly the third time he played as well. If I could think of any of the previous winners who was most likely to have declined being on this season, it would have been him, worried about placing worse yet again.

Natalie White from Samoa was an underrated winner in many people’s minds. She was quite better than some would give her credit for. While many think she simply rode someone else’s coattails, I don’t think that she did. She could have done a good job on another season (or tried to at least), but she isn’t here to prove how well she can do without a shield of someone playing badly.

Fabio from Nicaragua is a hated winner, even though I like him. He might not be seen as the worst of the winners anymore, but still might make that place on other’s lists if not mine. Like people who both made the cast and didn’t, he would have a lot to prove the second time around.

John from South Pacific and Caramoan liked being called by his last name for some odd reason. I will not call him that. He infamously flipped on his tribe the first time around, but people seem to forget just how badly he was treated by them or how he couldn’t have won with them anyways. He played one of the seasons that people quite despise a lot, although I don’t know how much he is still hated among the fans of this game. I neither hate him nor love him.

Mike from Worlds Apart was going to be on another season if he hadn’t actually won it. I hope that he was considered to be brought back, but maybe he wasn’t in the end. I’d like to see him play the game again at some point, if the show keeps lasting, that is. What is noticeable is how almost all of those who won the game after him are on the next season.

Chris Underwood from Edge of Extinction might have more to prove a second time around than all of the other winners due to how he benefitted from twists like the main one of the season which saw him return to the game near the finale after having been voted out long before the merge. No one, not even Lillian from Pearl Islands, saw such a benefital reversal of fortune like he did. I don’t know who else might have had such an easy path to the win. Not even Boston Rob could claim that.

Tommy from Island of the Idols was almost certain not to be in an all winner season due to the way and time that they film seasons on Survivor. Him being on a season would have spoiled the fact that he was a winner to the other players and the fans who learned the cast before the season started. There’s not much else to say about this as he could play again if the show lasts.

Well, I’m sorry if this post seems redundant in places as I wasn’t quite sure where it would go when I started writing it and can only hope that it is entertaining to you now that I have written it. I do not yet know when I’ll be able to see more of Survivor: Gabon so keep an eye out for that in the future. Just know for sure that it won’t be on this coming Sunday as I will yield this to another blog. I'm weird like that. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Winners at War: Knowing the Returning Players

Sorry that there wasn't a post of this blog on Sunday. I haven't been able to watch any new episodes of Survivor: Gabon just yet. I would have liked to and might have been able to on Saturday were it not for different issues and problems getting in the way. I never had the chance before to tell you about some of what I would do during the next hiatus of Survivor specifically relating to what I would do with the blog in terms of when it would be updated if I wasn't able to do all Sunday posts like I was wanting to should the blog not be able to be updated then. If any of this is making sense, know that I will do random posts of this blog like I normally do while on hiatus and you will see that instead of posts about the seventeenth season in the meantime. Watch out for both days of the week as potential times I update this blog. Now, let's get to the post in question.

With a new season of Survivor starting next month, I might as well mention what you might need to know about the returning players from this season. While it is easy to look up information about them yourselves, I figure that I might as well do it since I like to every season I can in advance of returning players coming back into the game again. Well, let’s get started.

Ethan first appeared in the third season, Africa. He was a popular player among fans and others in the game that season as he won with five votes compared to the normal four that often happened in the previous times in the game. He returned for the eighth season, All-Stars. He made it the farthest of the four winners that were on that season, but he was still out before the merge since I guess people had worried that he could win again, even if he found that unlikely.

Sandra first appeared in the eighth season, Pearl Islands. One of the most popular seasons of the show, she ended up being the winner of that season. When she played a second time in Heroes versus Villains, she ended up winning the game again. She returned for the thirty-fourth season, Game Changers. She made it the farthest of the three winners, but was finally voted out this time. In Island of the Idols, she was a mentor to the new players, but not seen as much as the other mentor. She said that she was not wanting to play Survivor again supposedly so maybe she was only picked since no other winners who were female agreed to play again. It could have also been a lie or she changed her mind since them.

Amber first appeared in the second season, Australia. She was on the jury, having gotten voted out of the game after her alliance turned on her. She appeared later in All-Stars where she wound up aligning in more than one way with Rob Mariano. They are now married with four kids. After making it to the end of the game with her showmance, she ended up winning it the second time around.

Danni first appeared in the eleventh season, Guatemala. Finally, after all this time, an original player from that season is playing the game again. That has not yet happened before. A lot of fans like her as she overcame a lot of difficulties with the majority of people against her at one point. I might have some issues with her as winner, even if I fully understood why the person I wanted to win who had sat against her didn’t win the game. Maybe this season will give me better appreciation of her.

Yul first appeared in the thirteenth season, Cook Islands. He got a super powered idol that helped keep him immune for pretty much the rest of the game. He was still able to overcome a lot in the game with his alliance making it all the way to the final four. His win, like a few others, also came against a player that many felt should have won instead. I hope he wasn’t just put on this season to make it more of a diverse one since he is an Asian-American.

Parvati also first appeared in Cook Islands. She made it to the jury, being voted out of the game. She then returned to the sixteenth season, Micronesia, where she formed a great alliance with others and wound up winning the game. She played again in the twentieth season, Heroes versus Villains. She made it to the end again and wound up coming in second place this time around.

Rob first appeared in the fourth season, Marquesas. He made it to the merge, but was voted out before the jury started forming. He appeared again on All-Stars where he came in second place. Some fans felt that he was, well, robbed of the win that time around. He returned for Heroes versus Villains and wound up with his shortest time in the game yet as he was out due to Russell’s ways. He wound up in a rematch against Russell in the twenty-second season, Redemption Island. Russell was quickly voted out by the others while Rob easily skated to the end where he won. He also appeared as a mentor in Island of the Idols and, like Sandra, said the reason why was because he didn’t want to play the game again. Now here he is playing the game again as spoilers said he would.

Sophie first appeared in the twenty-third season, South Pacific. I don’t think that my sister liked her as a player, at least at first. That might have been the reason why I didn’t like her much either. Despite being obnoxious, she wound up somehow winning the game that season which, in my mind, had perhaps the most unlikeable people playing in the finale.

Kim first appeared in the twenty-fourth season, One World. She wound up in a strong alliance and she ended up going far in the game because of it. Quite popular at the end against one of the last bitter juries in Survivor history, her win was almost a given by the time the finale started.

Denise first appeared in the twenty-fifth season, Philippines. On one of the worst tribes ever, she ended up going to every tribal council in the season she appeared in and became the only person besides the host of the show (and any potential crew members) to be present for the elimination of every player in a single season. After winning just one immunity challenge, she wound up turning on her ally when it was clear he had the best chances of winning besides her. And that’s how she won that time.

Tyson first appeared in the eighteenth season, Tocantins. He didn’t seem to make much of a mark on me that time as he wound up on the jury. He played in Heroes versus Villains where he made a famous dumb move that resulted in his own elimination because of voting the wrong way on the split vote. When he returned for the twenty-seventh season, he wound up winning it for the first time.

Tony first appeared in the twenty-eighth season, Cagayan. A huge villain, he would up dominating the game in many ways which got him a well deserved win. He returned for the thirty-fourth season, Game Changers. He was quite terrible this time around as he was voted out second.

Natalie from San Juan del Sur is not the only Natalie to win the game as a Natalie won Samoa. This one might not have seemed to some that she could win as the game wound down, but she did turn out to be the one who came out on top in the end after calculated gambles that paid off.

Michele first played Kaoh Rong. She might have the most to prove among fans as many felt that she did not deserve to win or was a bad winner or something like that. I quite liked her path to the win as we saw her outlast all the other players who had too many flaws in the game.

Jeremy first played the twenty-ninth season, San Juan del Sur. He did well for a while until others turned on him and he became part of the jury. He returned for Cambodia where he played quite a great game and wound up making it to the end where he won.

Adam first played the thirty-third season, Millennials versus Gen X. He played on behalf of his mother who was dying and had since passed. He got ten jury votes against two different players who both got none. Was it a sob story alone? I find that to be unlikely in my mind.

Sarah first appeared in Cagayan. While she made it to the merge, she was almost instantly put on the jury, never making it past many tribal councils. She returned for Game Changers where she developed quite a ruthless game and even conned someone out of their advantage where it went to her. She did manage to pull off a win this time around. She is the most recent woman to have won.

Ben first appeared in the thirty-fifth season, Heroes versus Healers versus Hustlers. He was known for his big and bold moves towards the end of the game, including playing an idol before votes were cast, the first person to do this since Guatemala when the rules were different and idols had to be played then. He was the target to be voted out for quite a while, but kept surviving with idols. He also ended up benefiting from a twist that changed how the final four worked. His win seems tainted to many so he might have more to prove than other winners do.

Wendell first appeared in the thirty-sixth season, Ghost Island. A strong player, it largely came down to him and his main ally that season as to who would win. He also survived the new final four by making fire in the end. When the vote for a winner turned out to be a tie, he ended up winning when Yanni gave him that vote in the end.

Nick first appeared in the thirty-seventh season, David versus Goliath. Placed on the David tribe, he wound up avoiding the first elimination when it was effectively cancelled when other player was pulled from the game instead. While having a bit of a villainous side, he did manage to pull off the win as he was the first person not to win the forced fire making challenge when it was introduced to still win the game as a result.

Well, hopefully that catches you up on what these players were like in previous seasons. I hope that you liked this post. Either random posts of this blog will be on Wednesdays in the future or you will see more posts on Survivor: Gabon on Sundays. I will have to take at least one Sunday during the hiatus off so keep that in mind as future posts are made. I also hope that I can write more posts about this upcoming season of Survivor like this one in the future if I’m not able to do more of Gabon posts. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Survivor: Gabon episode 5- This Camp is Cursed

I have no idea what all will be outdated in these blog posts by the time that I publish them. I also don’t yet know how far ahead I might be in the posts that I’m writing now for this season by the time that the currently airing season will be done being shown. I kind of like the fact that I can just have these all ready to publish when that season ends. I just won’t know how much will get done just yet. Maybe I will finish the whole season or maybe I’ll just be part of the way through it.

Let’s get to the idol from Ghost Island part 4. Wendell found the idol that was Erik’s immunity necklace from Micronesia. He held onto it until the last time it could be played. Since he was immune, he gave it to Laurel (or was it Yanny?) who then played it and had no votes against her.

The episode was rolled on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, same as the previous one. I didn’t have time to watch much of anything else in the meantime. The late hours with my job combined with people who were working on my house’s roof at the time lead to a general lack of sleep and messed up eating schedule. We’ll see what might change with my jobs later.

We begin at the Fang tribe after tribal council. They think that Sugar hasn’t eaten due to her time on Exile Island. Ace was worried about his life in the game after the vote. Sugar was glad that she is on the tribe with Ace, but noticed that Kelly is still there. Crystal wants to get rid of Sugar. Well, when it comes to a healthy diet, the less sugar, the better.

The Kota tribe gets an electric fish. But it isn’t an eel or something like that. Aren’t those enemies in Banjo Tooie? Randy is liking his new tribe. But he fears that he will be a target along with all of the old members of his tribe. The Fang tribe is gathered to where an elephant is gathered. They all look at it in amazement. What’s the matter? You haven’t seen a grazing elephant before? Matty thinks that it is pretty amazing that they can see the elephant. The people get out on a boat to see it closer.

At the challenge, the members of Kota are shocked to see Jacquie voted out. We then get to the reward challenge in question. They will get herbs, possibly such as parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. They will play something akin to fruit ninja and get all the fruit they catch too if they win. Kota wins the challenge since their fruit weighs more. Sugar is sent to Exile Island again.

The rich are getting richer at Kota. Dan loves his tribe so much that it might seem fake to others. Marcus isn’t sure that these people will have his back at the merge. Randy makes a splash by heading off to the lake by himself. He likes his new tribe a lot.

At Exile Island, Sugar is very happen spending time there by herself. Back at the Fang tribe, Crystal gets on people’s nerves by telling another player to eat their rice. GC get irritated and goes off on his own for a bit. Ace is loving the drama since it isn’t him affected by it. After the tribe gets treemail, Matty talks about the insanity on his tribe. GC is off on his own and the tribe doesn’t know where he is. Will they have to leave without him? Crystal thinks that he was throwing a tantrum. But he does return before the tribe has to leave for the challenge.

The immunity challenge happens next. Ace doesn’t do well at the challenge, partially due to Sugar being bad at directing him. For some reason, Ace listens when Randy tells him to stop moving, despite Randy being on the other tribe.

After their defeat, the Fang tribe returns, bummed after their loss. GC admits that he’s ready to leave the game. Matty says that people pounce on moves like that. Crystal thinks that if he wants to go, he should go. Crystal doesn’t want people who quit. Everyone is told to vote for GC. He’s making this vote really easy for people. But people bring up Sugar possibly having an idol. Crystal looks through her bag and realizes that Sugar has the idol. Is tonight the only night to get rid of Sugar? Ken realizes that she could be in danger now since they know she has the idol. But do they have time for quitters?

We then get to tribal council. GC thinks that he might want to go home. Well, he’d be going elsewhere until he can go home later. He does want to head back home. Sugar is emotional over this as she thinks that they all want to go home. She thinks that she could be the target and brought her bag. But she does have the idol and she doesn’t know that people know she has it. Not much happens at the tribal council in question. After the votes are cast, GC does a throwaway vote for Kelly. Sugar, Ace, Kelly, Crystal, Matty, and Ken all vote for GC and he is voted out of the game as a result.

On the next Survivor, Ace seems to be getting more power including an idol and a new ally. We will see for sure what all happens later as the game. Of course, I already know the gist of what happens this season and will have to see what all will happen again to better remember for sure.

GC had quite a terrible performance as a player. He was voted as the leader, but quit pretty early into the whole endeavor. He didn’t really do much and seemed like he quit in the end. He wasn’t a real quitter, but he sure felt like it. Thus, I give him about a 15% chance of returning to the game again. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.
