Episode 25.9

As this season of Survivor continues to air, I still have a lot of questions in my mind completely unrelated to this season. Is Survivor Sucks a website forum for or against Survivor? Are the spoilers there accurate? How many Survivor contestants have real twitter accounts? Does anyone related to the show read this blog? Who will win the season? What contestants will return for the next season (provided it really is an all stars season of some sort)? Does more than one person read this blog? Why does the promo for each new episode always suck? If I had a podcast, would I be able to get as many people as another podcast that exists online (link in last post)? Do people read this blog because they watch Survivor or do they watch Survivor because they read this blog? But Survivor has had hundreds of players. Some of them might be reading this blog. Also, I'm still surprised that they aren't going back to Palau and filming two back to back season while the new tribes are lead by players of the tenth season who've never played a second time yet. There are sixteen available contestants that would be great (three have played the game again and one has died). But, if you read this blog, you already know what I have to say about that season. Also, what would be strange in my mind is if there was a Survivor season without a Survivor first. That, in and of itself, would be a first. Can you imagine people talking about the first Survivor without a first? Sorry if this sounds confusing. Also, why have fake immunity idols never been a part of the game since Survivor: Gabon? You'd think that players would be interested in deceiving other players with fake idols. I guess that's a thing of the past or nobody has thought of doing it again. And another thing: In regards to Redemption Island, why was it never an island? It was used twice and neither season had it as an island. It was a good idea, but because they didn't know how to do it right, it disappeared, never to be seen again. If it does get seen again, I hope that just the viewers and not the players get to see what happens. Also, Exile Island was retired after Coach in Survivor: Tocantins made it a good thing instead of a bad thing, but the island was already flawed to begin with. You shouldn't be allowed to send the same player in back to back episodes. Also, if they ever do Redemption Island again, then they shouldn't use the hidden immunity idol that season. But I did like the seasons were the hidden immunity idol was only available to those who went to Exile Island. Something else I was wondering: why haven't I ever met a Survivor contestant? There are so many of them. I should have met one by now. I guess that none live in my area and since I can't go to places where they might live, I'm pretty much stuck with never meeting one. I could always go to a reunion show if I suddenly found myself with a surplus of free time. Or I could go on the show myself. I already know the nonexistent rule that I would probably test to see if my theory is true. That theory, which I've mentioned before, is that if there's no rule against it, than the contestants can do whatever they want. If it is reasonable, then the theory is true. If it is highly unreasonable, than it might not be. I wouldn't want to be the first contestant expelled from the game. Honestly, that's a first that I hope never happens. That would mess up a lot. Would they even get prize money? Would they be banned from the reunion show and every future season? Also, if they do a Celebrity Survivor, than who would qualify as a celebrity? There have been so many playing for themselves whom I've never known of outside Survivor. And since celebrity editions of reality shows require the players to play for a charity instead of themselves, how would they even convince anyone that they should play that way? I wouldn't want to play for a charity if I were a celebrity on Survivor. If I were a celebrity outside Survivor and were playing for some charity, than I'd probably make it a good one like the It Happened to Alexa fund, which I actually did play for in a dream of mine.

Also, does anyone who read this blog watch The Jeff Probst Show? For some odd reason that Jeff Probst isn't associated with Survivor in any way, shape, or form. I wish that they would do interviews with contestants that were voted out like they used to do on The Early Show. But at least Jeff is still hosting Survivor. I'd fear for the future of this show if they had to have a different host. Another thing I should add to my blog are the three stupidest moves, players, decisions, etc from this season. I think that I will in the last blog post of mine this season. I will do that when the finale airs. I don't know who will win. I could do a guess as to who I want to win and another as to who will actually win, but I don't think that I will. I could, but I won't. If you are ever interested in my crazy Survivor obsession, don't be afraid to post here and ask me about it. By the way, don't waste your time with the Survivor Sucks forum. It's a pointless waste of time. Also, if you are a former Survivor contestant and your real self is on twitter, send @IamAdamDecker a tweet sometime. I will try to find more of you to follow. And thank your Russell Swan for replying to my tweet. Should I tell you about this blog? I hope that you like what I've said here if you do read it. Also, when it comes time for Advent and Lent, my blog will become very strange. Hopefully, it will still exist. I know that I'll have to start recording shows and watching them later while I normally blog about the episode when it first airs. Of course, I publish the post later and that gets into some of the problems. The post will be written a long time before it gets published to the corresponding episode. Also, regarding Jeff's rant: taxes are the reason that many contestants blow their winning immediately. Otherwise, so many of the people could wind up not reporting it on their income tax reports and thus go into jail. But to my knowledge, that has only happened once with one person. And that person won. I also find it humorous that Jeff Kent's rant talked about Obama, who was president at the time, but was not yet reelected until the footage aired. That will show rich people whose boss. I can't think of someone who has started rich and actually won the game. Those people are normally assholes like Russell Hantz. And if he's reading this, take note: there's a reason I'm not following him on twitter. My prediction for the season: Should win: Denise, Will win: Michael.

Here's another thought: could the host of Survivor want to leave? I heard rumors that he wanted to stop hosting since the moment his contract was first up for renewal. If you following the contracting news, you might realize that lately they only seem to get him for two seasons at a time and never any more. If the next season is an all star season, then it could be the last with the regular host we love as a way to send him off. If they do have to get a new host, I have no idea who they would choose. Would it be a former contestant? Would it be a famous person who is a big fan of Survivor? Will it be someone completely new in the industry like Jeff Probst was when he was hired to do that first season? Mark Burnett has said that he chose Jeff for the job because he was the most eager of all the applicants. Mark also said that if he didn't hire Jeff, he would have gone with the person who ended up hosting The Amazing Race. I hope that if seasons 27 and 28 find a new host, that he or she is good at the job. They'd be stuck with the person for at least two seasons so hopefully they pick a good one, if they need a replacement. Most fans say that if Jeff Probst were to leave, that they would stop watching. Jeff could host both his talk show and Survivor, considering that Survivor would probably be filmed as his talk show is on summer break. I don't want to spread untrue rumors that Jeff is leaving the hosting duties, but I don't know for sure. Also, is anyone annoyed that most reality show hosts are guys? Can't women be hosts as well? Who would a replacement host be? Would they be associated with CBS or some other successful venue outside Survivor? Would it Colby Donaldson or Jenna from Amazon? I know that an actress from The Big Bang Theory is a fan of the show. Would they be able to get her to host? Besides, would she be able to star on two shows at once? (The actress I'm referring to plays Amy.) I guess if Survivor 26 is the last time Jeff hosts the show, we will find out then. I just hope that his talk show is a good alternate career to this, if he stops hosting Survivor. I've heard that bad hosts have ruined international Survivor seasons. But I don't know for sure if they did. Also, to my knowledge, Jeff is not going to stop hosting Survivor. I don't want any of you confused. It's merely a possibility, like anything is. Poor Jeff is a busy man. After filming for this season wrapped, he had to do the One World Reunion show only to fly back here to do the 26^th season. I don't know when he had time to do a pilot for a talk show, much less the show itself. I've even heard that he keeps regular contact with his wife and filming while filming Survivor seasons which could suggest constant flying back and forth all the time. I'll never know how he goes to New York for some of the Survivor reunion shows. In case you didn't know, some but not all of the reunion shows are filmed at the Ed Sullivan theatre. How that works with filming the Late Show at the same time is beyond my understanding. Normally the Late Show would be on break, I'm guessing. There are probably people who work on setting on the theatre for the reunion show one day and the Late Show the next. I'd love to hear some of their stories. But enough of my ramblings.

In the recap, they pointed out how Lisa had screwed up recently by making the big move that she did. When they came back from tribal council, Jonathan learned that he was the one who screwed up the vote. A tie wouldn't have helped anything, but since he voted for Abby, he may have messed things up. He also wondered who on the tribe was playing what game. Poor Lisa wanted to be known for more than just a teen star, and people that just recognize her for that would find it hard to live the game. My mother thinks that her confessional is interesting and mature. The reward challenge was with muddy people getting balls in baskets. They have definitely done this type of challenge before. The winner gets to be ambassadors to a nearby area to help them with supplies. Abby is given an ill luck of the draw and can't be in the challenge. She should at least be able to vote for a team to win so she can win with her pick of team. My sister wishes that she could win this challenge and thinks that Lisa will be voted out this episode. The red team of I forgot who are doing better in the challenge. Poor Artis isn't getting much attention this season, so he's either not important yet or he'll be more important later. I have no idea who will get voted out. The red team will probably win unless the yellow team gets a big comeback. They don't. Malcolm, Penner, Denise, and Carter were the red team and won.

In the next segment of the show, the native village in the Philippians was were the reward challenge went to. Jonathan had trouble explaining his name to the kids. He goes by Penner, but that's not his first name. I would be confused too. When I was young I didn't know why my cousins referred to my aunt as mom and my mom as aunt. The politics of the game even continued on the challenge. That's a bummer for those in the game, if you ask me. Back at the camp, different politics played out. Abby may be the most naive person who has played the game, or at least the most naïve who made it this far. I still don't know why Lisa said that she was playing both tribes at the tribal council. Lisa is too sweet to play the game. (Remember Zane?) I don't think that sweet players last that long. Matt in Redemption Island would have done better if he wasn't so darn sweet.

In the next segment of the show, the tribes met for an immunity challenge, which makes me believe that there's no gap when the reward ended to when this challenge began. The challenge looks impossible to the average eye. That's probably why it is an immunity challenge. I hope that Michael wins. He does. That makes me feel good since he is still a favorite of mine to win. It's also good since he's a veteran player and they are still the targets in the game. So it might be Jonathan who gets voted out. Off topic: am I the only annoyed by all the Christmas commercials? Maybe I should post an official list on either this blog or my TV blog. I saw 27 before Halloween!

In the next segment of the show, the politics at camp played out once again. Denise wants to get rid of Tandang members so Jonathan might have a chance of not getting voted out. Jonathan is still remembered as a good villain by me at least. That's probably what he's doing right now. I'm glad that Michael won individual immunity since he never had that chance in Australia. I have no idea what will happen, but I'm guessing that Lisa could be the one voted out since she's been given so much airtime in this episode. I notice that there still isn't a tribal council hashtag. Did I use it for nothing? I have the feeling that Lisa is digging her own grave at the tribal council. One shouldn't reveal that they are playing both sides. And nobody pronounces mature right anymore. The t shouldn't be so emphasized in the word. That bugs the hell out of me. If you know me outside this blog, please pronounce the word right! Michael says that he's more a fan of the game then he is a player. But I still don't know who is getting voted out as the editing is very vague. I don't know if an idol will be played, but if it is, I hope that it isn't a waste. Lisa talks too much. She will be her own downfall in the game if there is one. So far, the only known votes are for Penner and Artis. No idols are played, so hopefully none will be wasted. The person voted out was Artis. The poor guy. I don't understand why they got rid of him instead of Penner. The poor guy didn't get much if any airtime in the game. Poor guy got voted out. What happened to getting out Jonathan? That doesn't make much sense, but I like that he is still in the game. The final vote was five to four.

I don't know why my family is complaining about Abby so much. Just because I don't like her doesn't mean she's deserves so much ill will. I still don't know why Artis got voted out. Michael voted for him and Lisa voted for Penner. That's important to know, I think. Why would Michael vote against Tandang? Does he support the unspoken rule that returning players should stick together? That would explain why he didn't vote for Jonathan. Not sure what will happen in the next episode. Good news for Abby and Malcolm: neither played their idols and neither needed them. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Episode 25.8

Survivor: Philippians has become quite an interesting season thus far. I have never seen a season quite like it before. The three tribe twist, the dissolve of the tribe that kept losing, the returning players, the contestant who technically quit, but was sort of medically evacuated, and everything I've already mentioned thus far. This season is so strange. It just might be the strangest season yet. But, I tend to think that with every season in the game. What I guess I'm saying is that there is never a dull moment for fans of Survivor. If you don't watch this show, you are missing out on a great experience. If you do watch this show, you are doing a good thing. The show keeps getting better and is more interesting with each new season. I for one can't wait to see what the next season might hold in its future. It's rumored to be an all-star season of some sort. I hope that it is good, although they really have returning players too much. Are they running out of new contestants? I've seen promos for casting for future seasons. I don't know when they'll be filmed since Jeff Probst has a talk show. But since they are looking for new players, I guess that means that there will be a season 27 and 28. They will probably be filmed at the same location with different contestants with a month break between the filming dates like every season has been done since Tocantins was on the air. If they go to Samoa again, they have officially run out of locations. I don't know what good locations would be for future seasons and I don't know how Jeff Probst does Survivor, a talk show, and marriage with a blended family all at once. All that, and he's supposedly a pastor too. I would love to hear a sermon by him, if that's true. Chances are that a lot of his Survivor experiences could be turned into Christian messages. But even if he really is a pastor, I don't know if he's still with a church and preaching sermons on Sundays or not. I have heard that he married two former Survivor contestants. But like I've said before, a lot of my information comes from wikipedia so I don't know if it true or something that anyone just made up for no good reason. Also, if they want to reuse a location for a future season, go to Palau. That is quite possibly the best location they have ever done in seasons past. If I weren't so busy, I'd be a contestant. But I don't think that I ever will be. I'd probably quit on the first day. Also, I forgot to mention that I still hope that Michael does better this season. I'm glad that he made it to the merge. He would have gotten far in Australia if he weren't medically evacuated. He could have even won the game. But I'm glad that he's back this time and glad that he made it to the merge this time. Although, his tribe never went to tribal council this season until the last episode. He never had a vote against him the first time he played the game. I don't know if he'll be this lucky this time. Sorry in advance if there is any misinformation in any and all of my blog posts. Also, am I the only person who wonders what would happen if there's a tie at the final tribal council? I know that they would probably have something planned out so that the fans know during the reunion show even if there is a tie. I figure that they could always compete again on future seasons and whoever makes in farther would be the winner of the old season if there was a tie. It's possible that we will never know. If the tied players do have to compete on a future season, than it would be nice if they chose their own tribe instead of having to draw and be in an already divided tribe. Come to think of it, I don't think that the contestants have chosen their own tribe since Survivor: Gabon. But it's not a twist they do that often and normally one tribe is always weaker when they do that. Also, here's a Survivor fun fact. Contestants constantly talk about going home when they get voted out. But none of the contestants are send back to their home until after the filming has wrapped for the season. You could be the first person voted out, and not go home until the 39 days of filming are over. They've barely talked about this on the show, but normally those voted out before the jury are put on some sort of cruise in the area and of course, those voted out when the jury is started to form are put in a special place and not supposed to see what happens in the actual game except for what goes on at tribal council. But a lot of what happens in Survivor is not known. I mean, they film three days worth of game and edit it into one hour plus commercials. That's why every episode comes with the disclaimer that portions of the program not affecting the outcome have been edited. A lot of what is missing is probably so boring that no one would care about it. All I know is that in three days, the most interesting part of the show is what gets into the final cut. Also, there are at least three twitter accounts all claiming to be the official account of CBS. So I'd be wary if I were you of which account is right. Also, does anyone know how the editing in the show works? Are there test screenings of episodes like there are in regular TV shows? I'd love to be invited to a test showing of an episode, but I'd probably have to live in LA. Besides, with all the crazy fans of the show that are out there, it must be tough keeping the events secret from the general public. Also, to anyone who reads this blog who lives in Indiana, are you disappointed that Rupert Boneham wasn't elected governor? I would be, but I don't think that politics and reality stars should mix. I mean, who wants that kind of stupidity associated with reality stars? But enough of my ramblings.

Today is November 7, 2012. After the recap, Jonathan talked about being betrayed. He wants to know why everyone was out to get him as he doesn't have any friends. (Also, rumored location of Survivor 27 and 28 is the Solomon Islands.) People were wondering what the shifting alliances of the newly merged tribe is.

In the next segment of the show, Lisa was talking about her plans for the future of the tribe and what her plans are to win. And finally, the #rewardchallenge hashtag is created. I'll never be able to use it. Just like I'll never be able to use the #immunitychallenge hashtag either. The yellow and blue teams are randomly divided members of the existing tribe and are going for an interesting reward. Most people want to take the returning players out of the game. The challenge is constantly very close. It is hard to tell who might win. Although it will probably be the yellow team. I am right. The yellow team won the reward. I wonder if I should take bets as to who might win each challenge. Will Denise win the game? She is the ultimate underdog, and I feel that if she would be a good winner if she did win. But it could be unlikely. You never know.

In the next segment of the show, Artis is complaining that he didn't win the challenge, but he's glad that he's still in the game for the million. The politics with the losers at camp starts to see what the voting out order might be. At the reward challenge, different politics were playing out. Jonathan figured that he won't win the game. Ultimately, nothing really happened in this segment.

In the next segment, the tribe was back together after the reward. Lisa is planning something evil. She reveals the secret of Malcolm's hidden immunity idol. Considering how she's been on the CBS talk show The Talk, she might be a bigger part of the game than we viewers might think. But The Talk has guests from other CBS shows almost exclusively. That's the one thing I don't like about The Talk. The challenge could go anyone's way right now. The final three of the challenge is three guys with Jonathan being one of them. Pete might be doing the best. Jonathan is bummed out that he has yet to win an immunity challenge until the season. In his previous two seasons, he had never one. Although in Micronesia, he never even made it to the merge part of the game. With Jonathan immune, anything could happen next. I just realized that only half of this show has aired and yet the immunity challenge has happened. So a lot must happen in the next part or my clock is wrong.

In the next segment, Jonathan is thrilled that he finally won immunity, but now the tribe has to vote for someone else instead. Will it be Michael? Lisa keeps telling people that Matsing's immunity idol is still in play. So maybe Malcolm will be the one voted out. Meanwhile, talk was happening about voting out Jeff. Also, it is rumored that Malcolm is a returning player in the next season. I've heard who the rumored winner next season is and hope that it isn't true. I'm not going to talk about it here. We have no idea who is going to be voted out. I hope that they take a commercial break before the tribal. It could be a long and game changer. Pete might also be the person voted out. I have no idea what's going to happen. Nobody is safe. I have no idea what will happen. Carter mentioned that Jeff might be the one going home. At the tribal council, the tribe started to unravel. This is really great television. If you have never seen Survivor, but still read this blog, I suggest that you start. Although, I don't know why anyone would read this blog if they didn't watch this show. Malcolm revealed that he had the idol and Abby stupidly revealed hers as well. She doesn't understand the concept of sarcasm, but then again, neither do I. This is the strangest tribal council in recent memory. It doesn't match the tribal council were Erik got voted out in Micronesia. Meanwhile, it came down to the vote. This is still a legendary tribal council. No idol was played. Jeff got voted out. There were five votes for him, four votes for Pete, and one vote for Abby. Something strange really happened.

In the preview for the next episode, Lisa and Jonathan form an alliance. Are there any? Oh well. Also, Jeff's last words were a rant about how people the prize money is taxed and that's he's rich enough not to care about it because he's a big baseball MVP. Also, if you want me to create a political blog, let me now. The guy had no idea that Obama would get reelected, but of course he did. Once you go black, you don't go back. There has also never been a wartime president in history who ran for reelection and lost. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

If anyone has commented on this blog and I haven't replied to it, then I'm sorry. I don't know how to access comments after the blog post is updated. Also, if you are a former Survivor contestant and you are on twitter, please let me know if our account is real. I also wouldn't mind following you on twitter if you worked for the show in some way shape or form. That way, I know who you are. I might be interested in you are not even know it. I am following these accounts on twitter: Russell Swan, Jessica "Sugar" Kiper, and other Survivor contestants that I can't remember. I'd post the links here, but I think that you have to find them for yourself. And like I said before, I'm not sure if these accounts are real or not. You know I'm following you. Don't be afraid to send me a tweet sometime. Also, if I ever became a contestant, I would probably be a superfan. Those people can be dumb players in the game and I haven't watch the first season, but I might do better in the game than people who haven't seen the game much. Of the other four stereotypical Survivor contestants (and yes, Nicole, I know you are reading this and this is your idea and not mine) I know I wouldn't be the person who is there for the money, I don't like being called by my last name, I wouldn't use looks to get ahead (although stranger things have happened), and I definitely wouldn't be the strong man who thinks that I can win every challenge to when the game. Find my sister's blog and you can ask her what I'm talking about. Or go to www.youtube.com and hope that you can find the video that she may or may not have posted. Boy, this post is ridiculous. But, it comes with the territory. I always do strange pre Survivor ramblings before I get to the actually point and events of the episode. I might be writing this for no good reason and I may never actually publish this. I hope that I did, but I don't know. Also, in case you are wondering, Adam Decker, why are you so neurotic? Well, that's the kind of person that I am. I am very asocial and would never be like this outside of the internet. If you know me in real life, you already know enough about me. Also, I have yet to get an email from google telling me that someone has replied to this blog or not. I have no idea who in their right mind would do that, but it doesn't matter. Also, I remember that I'm following Eliza from Survivor: Vanuatu and Fans Versus Favorites on twitter. I don't know if that is really her or not either. I hope that it is. I really do. But in case you are wondering how big a Survivor nerd I am, consider this: when I find an old episode on VHS, I watch it in its entirety, even though I know everything that is going to happen in it. So I hope that you get that same thrill out of my blog as you do when you watch an old episode from an old season. I am the kind of person that should have a podcast, whatever that is. But there are a lot of TV shows that I'm nerdy about. That's why I'm on www.fanfiction.net. In fact, that is probably how you found this blog. If it was, then self promotion works! If it wasn't, than whatever I did still works. Maybe you've found a lot of my posts at www.tvseriesfinale.com and that is how you know who I am. Or, maybe you like blogs and thought mine was entertaining. It doesn't matter. All that matters is that you've found the right Adam Decker. There are a lot of Adam Deckers in this world. I am merely one of many. Also, if someone can explain why Katie was the one voted off in the last episode, I would like to know. Something was clearly lost in editing. Also, I honestly don't know much about her in terms of the game. There are many forums that I'm a part of and maybe that's how you know me. Hopefully, you don't know me as a banned member of a forum. Also, in terms of forums, is Survivor Sucks a good forum for Survivor fans or a horrible one? I've never really understood the point of that forum. I've never been there either. I would recommend avoiding it anyways as it is only know for promoting spoilers that may or may not be true. I do not like spoilers and am not going to look for any. If you know any, DO NOT post them here or I will not like it. I also don't think that any other fans of Survivor would like to know who gets voted out in this episode before the person leaves the game. Spoilers are the reason that I wasn't too excited about Heroes Versus Villains. I already knew who the final three would be and the spoilers turned out to be accurate. So I wouldn't look for something stupid like that. I don't want to know what will happen before it happens. But I guess that is probably because I went places I shouldn't have gone and did things that I shouldn't have done. The spoilers may also have been because of Russell Hantz, resident asshole of the Survivor universe. I can't believe that he thinks he's the best player or that any other person thinks that he's good. But, if you see a season with accurate spoilers and he's in it, I hate to tell you, but he made it very far. Besides, he can probably afford the five million dollar penalty that people are charged with if they reveal spoilers. Although, it could have easily been someone else who worked on both seasons that never signed a contract. Anyone could have been the source of thos rumors and Russell has denied that he was the one responsible. That's why I would never blog about a season I was in until after it aired. If you know me outside of the game, I can't tell you what will happen. Besides, you are only charged the money if they find out that you were the one who really did it and you signed a contract telling people that you wouldn't. Besides, spoilers could easily be fake. Remember how Boston Rob was voted out before the merge in Survivor: Redemption Island? (He wasn't)

Man that rambling was way too long. It really was. I should get to the point. There are many Survivor communities out there for everyone who is a super nerd. And there are many people who would have read books that were written by the former contestant. I should read Michael Skupin's fireproof book. I really should. I have seen a movie called fireproof, but it has nothing to do with that book. There is also a book based off of the movie fireproof that has nothing to do with the book Michael wrote. So it is really confusing, if you ask me. I am also tired of all these veterans returning to the game of Survivor. Have they run out of ideas for good seasons? Maybe they have or will have when they do a Celebrity Survivor. That's when they've jumped the shark. I'd hate to think of who would even pass for a celebrity who would want to compete for a charity and not themselves. Besides, when an international version of Survivor does celebrity seasons, they normally have a lot of contestants who quit the game very early into it. So I don't think that it would be a good idea. I really don't. Does Survivor need more contestants who are (in)famous for quitting the game? I hate it every time a contestant quits, even though I don't know why they really do it. I should note that most of the random information in these blogs come from www.wikipedia.org and thus may not be accurate. Have you seen the wikipedia page on wikipedia? They could not have painted themselves in a better light and that page is locked from the average change that most people would make. So don't blame me for any inaccuracies in this blog post, or any blog post for that matter. I'm just telling you to be wary of spoilers. You'll never find them here. Unless, of course, I'm on the show and become an idiot. Besides, I'm dumb enough already. I'd probably be an immediate outcast like Zane. Also, I'm surprised that misrepresentation of contestants has never been a controversy caused by Survivor. It very easily could be. But most people don't know everything that happens on the island. Based on questions asked during reunion shows, Jeff Probst himself doesn't know what happened sometimes. I, for one, am very interested in who will win the game. But I have no idea, as I'm not into spoilers in the blog. If you, the reader, know any and post any in this blog, you are the problem and not me. Besides, I have yet to get an email saying that someone has commented on this blog. I just hope that someone is reading this. And if you found this blog through my www.fanfiction.net account, I hope you like what I've said. But I've already mentioned that once in this post alone. Sorry for repeating myself. I do that a lot. Also, if you like saying that anyone can make wikipedia wrong, consider this: can't anyone make it right as well? I take sole responsibility for any misinformation contained in these blogs. I don't even know where some of this information comes from. Besides, if CBS or anyone else starts sending me angry tweets or angry posts in this blog, then I know that I said something stupid and I will probably stop writing this or any other blog. In regards to the whole controversies caused by Survivor, I once heard of an international season that was either cancelled or unaired for some reason. I know that the rules of The Amazing Race say that the contestants earn the winnings they get whether the season ends up airing or not. I don't know if something like that would ever happen on the American Survivor. If they did cancel a season, there would have to be a very serious reason like a contestant dying. I hope that never happens and whoever was in that season may never be allowed to talk about it. I'd imagine that they'd film a replacement season, but if we'd ever see these contestants again would be unknown by the general public. It would be the biggest controversy in Survivor history, if it ever happens. We'll never know. Besides, they'd have to offer the remaining players something if the season never aired but was filmed entirely. But, I should stop rambling now and get to the point of this blog post. What happens in this next episode?

Sorry in advance that this isn't the typical blog post. I couldn't write this while the episode was airing. At the tribal council, RC and Jonathan had the same number of votes, or Jonathan had one more. Jonathan is probably feeling better that he hadn't played his idol at the last tribal council because he could have been going home today if he had. I don't know what a revote would have done and who would have gone home if that had happened. I forget who on Tandang had the immunity idol. I hope that it wasn't RC. I don't know exactly what the rules are regarding idols are. From what I understand in past seasons, if the player has the idol at tribal council, doesn't play it, and gets voted out, than the idol is not replaced. If the idol is left at camp and not brought to tribal council, it is found by producers, hid again, and reused in the game. I don't know if an idol by a person voted out can be given to a player at tribal council or not. If it is, it is normally before the vote so the new player can use it. But I know that in Survivor: China, when James got voted out with both immunity idols, he took them with him after the vote and they did not reenter the game. Also, if an idol is used properly at a tribal council, it may or may not enter the game, depending on what the producers do. I do not think that they will replace Jonathan's idol since there are still two in the game. I wish that I knew who has the idol from the old Tandang tribe. If it was RC, than only one idol remains in the game. If it wasn't, than there are two. The merge came at a strange point since there has never been a merge at eleven players before. The jury started with this episode. I don't know if they are doing a final three or final two. They typically do final threes in seasons they've made lately and the last season not to have one was Tocantins. So there will either be a final three and jury of eight or a final two and jury of nine. Now there are Survivor firsts that have happened this season that I can't believe I haven't noticed yet. Matsing is the first tribe to lose every challenge it was in. Denise is the first contestant in a season to attend every tribal council in a single season. Even in Survivor: Palau, there were two tribal councils that Stephenie wasn't at. Also, this is the first time that a tribe has avoided tribal council before a merge in Survivor history. The only two seasons before where one tribe won every immunity challenge had a twist that brought them to council and had them vote out a member of their tribe at least once. Those two seasons were Palau and Fiji. The only other important part of this episode is the merge. I don't know why they never told us the name of the new tribe. Do they even have a name? If they do, they have yet to inform the viewers what that name is. That's an important detail that I think that they left out. I don't know if Jonathan will last much longer in the game. He probably doesn't have that many friends left, if he has any at all. Also, it is interesting that the contestants think that the Matsing immunity idol is no longer in play. Well, Lisa and the two Matsing members both know that it is. But some contestants think that it isn't in the game. But, to be far, some people thought that Colton's idol last season might still be in play after he left. So we have no idea what will happen with the idol from that tribe. I for one am sad that RC is gone. I don't know why it seems that women are always the ones getting voted out. But I guess that I didn't really know who she was or that she did much in the game. It's a shame that whatever she did was edited out. But I'm looking forward to the next episode. The promo for the episode made it seem that Jonathan would be fighting for his life in the game. It could have easily been him voted out this episode. Hopefully, the next blog post will be normal. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Episode 25.6

So hopefully I'm able to continue posting the blog updates to the three known people who read this blog of mine. Or, at least I think that many people read this blog. I just hope that the two tribes are doing good. One wonders if the dissolve would have happened given other circumstances that could have happened in the game. I'm hoping the best for Malcolm and Denise considering how they outlasted the rest of the Matsing tribe. I suspect that a merge will happen when it normally does and the two tribes might have to live in the old Matsing tribe camp. I am still hoping that Michael wins the game, even if he isn't that great a player this time around. Abby does seem to be very weak in the game and I don't think that she will do that well. Jeff Probst says that something unprecedented will happen in the game. I don't think that any Survivor firsts have yet happened in the game, but they might. There always seems to be a first every season in the game of Survivor. If someone knows a Survivor first that has already happened that I haven't realized has happened, don't be afraid to tell me. At least that way I'd know someone cares about this blog. I am rooting for either Malcolm or Denise if they can win. They are probably already fan favorites. Poor Matsing probably didn't mean to suck that much and I don't know if there is a new bad tribe in the game now. We have yet to see the yellow tribe, for instance, go to tribal council and they probably will. But I don't know just how soon it will be. In the meantime, I wonder if any former contestant or current contestant or even future contestant is reading this blog. I don't think that I'd want to play the game. I'm taking prescription medication so they probably wouldn't let me. And as much as I like the idea of being on TV, I'd probably quit on the first day. If I didn't, I'd probably be voted out first or the first time my tribe goes to tribal council. And even if I did make it further than that, I'd probably get medically evacuated for some reason. But I'd probably be a great player if I have no faith in myself. Or, at least I wouldn't be an asshole like many of the more recognizable contestants from seasons past. I am a big enough fan to know that the 26 season of Survivor has already been filmed and is going through an extensive editing process as I'm typing this. I'm also a big enough fan to realize that the cameramen on the show never got footage of Michael actually falling into the fire or they probably would have shown it during Survivor: Australia. But that's just my opinion. We could all tell that it happened the first time even without the footage that may or may not have existed. Also, if you follow me on www.twitter.com (my account is @IamAdamDecker), you may have noticed a strange hashtag like #cbscurse. What I'm referring to is covered in another blog of mine. The point is that CBS is too popular for its own good. And if you were a fan of Made in Jersey, you may realize that it would have succeeded if it were on virtually any other network, whether it is network television or not. If you have not seen my TV blog, I would post the link here if I had it. But I'm sure you can find it by google or some other way. But enough of my ramblings, I need to talk about Survivor.

Before the recap finishes airing, I should warn you that any account on twitter from a former contestant could be fake. People thought that Michael Skupin was posting twitter updates while he was busy filming this season. So unless his account was hacked, it was a different Michael Skupin, or someone who he lets use his account was on the site, then the account isn't real. But it might be. There was a bit of small talk going on between the two members of the tribe that just returned from tribal council. When it came back from the break, the yellow tribe talks about how Michael is a useless player as a returnee. And he does have the least experience of any returning Survivor contestant with the sole exception of Russell Swan who was already voted out. Remember that when I post updates on twitter, they are not live updates like this blog, sort of is. The reward challenge seemed to be a big physical challenge. I missed what the reward is so I don't know. There may be sexual harassment claims after this episode. But I don't think that a repeat of the All Stars incident will happen where a contestant suddenly quit the game after it might have happened. There is a secret deal going on at the challenge. This deal between two returning players will cause big tension between the tribe mates. But I don't know how big this will be. The challenge isn't going as scheduled. There is a complete standstill and nothing is happening. Once again I appreciate the editing that goes into this show. Kalbow, the red tribe agreed to give up their rice in order to win the challenge by default instead of continuing the challenge as planned. This must be the unprecedented event that was referenced in the promo. I'm glad that they didn't spoil the surprise in the promo. Survivor never really doesn't need that kind of publicity. The next segment of the show had the reward given to the Kalbow tribe and they got letters from home. Since I've never been on Survivor, I've never understood why people find this segment so sentimental. The Tandang tribe is now the stupider and weaker tribe in the game and whether they win the immunity challenge or not may have to do with the deal they made. This is probably a Survivor first. There has never been a tribe forfeiting a challenge before. But if there is no Survivor rule against it, than the contestants can do whatever they want. Remember last season when a tribe gave up the immunity idol to the other tribe? This kind of event proves just how stupid people are. I might have forfeited the challenge as well. I am supposed to be eating supper, but I can't bring my laptop to the kitchen while I'm cooking my food. So if this blog becomes scattered, then it isn't my fault. I have to eat at some point. But I didn't attend class today like I was supposed to because I haven't been able to sleep like I should. Maybe I have undiagnosed GAD.

In the next segment of the show, the Kalbow tribe was bummed out about the fact that they gave up all their rice. Also, I am a pretty asocial person so consider yourself lucky if you are reading this blog. You are getting more out of me than I am. Also, if you found this blog through a google search, my evil plan worked. Blogger is a google service and that is why I set up my account that way. I use my real name a lot on the web so I become google worthy. That way, I have more recognition on the web. Soon I will have name recognition and won't be confused with the attorney at law or the person from www.adamdecker.com who is not me. The immunity challenge was much better than the reward which was more of a nonchallenge (if such a term exists). I don't know who will win the challenge. Malcolm helps Tanding win immunity. He is a good player now that he has a new tribe. Poor Kalabaw has become the next Matsing. Hopefully, they will last longer in future episodes. The red tribe is very weak now.

In the next segment of the show, Kalabow was probably bummed out about leaving the reward challenge and giving up their food. Since Jonathan was responsible for the idea, he is probably going to leave the game. (But he has a hidden immunity idol and would use it if he got wind of this plan.) I for one am hoping that he doesn't get wind of the plan and use the idol. There could always be a classic splitting of the vote that tends to happen in these situations. But I for one do not know what will happen. The tribal council session will reveal more of the problems in the tribe if people are stupid enough to say them and it is important enough to get aired. Jonathan talked about blindslides and how it may or may not be him. He may wind up a man without a tribe if he survives the tribal council. I'd hate to see what happens if he stays in the game past this tribal council. But it would make great television. I am glad that Penner didn't play the idol. He must have had no clue that he would still need it in the future. He was not voted out. Katie was instead. That makes absolutely no sense to the casual viewer. It really doesn't. Why did they vote out Katie? This will cause a lot of tension, if the promo predicts it.

Well, my mother has returned home and will be mad at me for not eating supper. But she is absolutely right. I should have eaten it by now. Lisa is finally identified as a star (I think) and there is some sort of twist that changes the game. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Episode 25.5

What will happen in this episode? I seriously hope that nobody gets medically evacuated again and it would be especially ironic if Jonathan is that person. I hope that I remember to publish this post because the one before isn't on yet. I predict, however, that if someone is leaving the game, it would be Jeff Kent who had injured his knee previously and has conveniently not been mentioned as much in the episodes lately. I hope that there is some twist involving the blue tribe where the two remaining members pull out a buff and join a new tribe. They would have to separate, but who cares? That's probably the best way to do it at this point in time. My sister has pointed out that it would be fairer if all the tribes were reshuffled entirely, but I don't think that will happen. She also pointed out that Russell forgot to give anyone the hidden immunity idol clue to help the two surviving member find hidden immunity idol on their camp. But they probably will soon. I also hope that I have the capability to continue posting these blog posts and remember too as well. And if you know me in real life, don't be afraid to talk to me about this sometimes. I seriously hope that someone I know is reading this or even people I don't know. I don't want this to be posted for no good reason. Also, I should be doing other and better things with my life anyways. If someone besides me were reading this, than at least I'd know that this isn't all for naught. Besides, there have to be Survivor producers who are interested in the blogs of the fans. I'd be a producer too, but I think, that if I ever accepted a role on Survivor that wasn't a contestant, then I wouldn't be allowed to become a contestant on a future season. But I wouldn't mind being a creative consultant. I could come up with a lot of good ways of doing the show. But, of course, I wouldn't know how to do it. And I'd probably mess up and cause troubles and lead people to think that Survivor is really scripted, which it cannot legally be. Now as I was saying, Matsing is the first tribe of two since Ullong and any and every season featuring a final two. Also, hopefully I'll be able to publish this blog post sometime in the near future or my ramblings can't be shared with anyone and are all for naught. I hope that I don't double post or forget to post an update to this blog of mine. But enough of my ramblings. I wonder if the two remaining Matsing members will become fan favorites and return for a future season by starting the game competing on separate tribes, like in Survivor: Guatemala with Stephanie and Bobby Jon. That might be unlikely, but who knows?

Today is October 17, 2012 and the recap just finished airing. Back at Matsing, Malcolm and Denise returned to their tribe and were very bummed out about what might be happening in the future.

In the next segment, the Matsing tribe probably wanted to find the idol, but they were bummed out about the rain. Finally, a reward challenge was being held. They finally found the idol with no clue as to where it would be held. But who would keep it? Matsing is decimated and the two of them are split up. Denise went to the red of Kalbow tribe and Malcomn went to the yellow or Tandang tribe. The first reward challenge that wasn't a combined immunity challenge happened in the game. The reward challenge had the tribes fighting idols out of each other's hands. Tandang won the reward of food for the challenge. Hopefully neither of the remaining Matsing members get voted off today, but even Stephenie was able to outlast two members of Koror once she was absorbed into it. There will probably not be any special immunity offered, so hopefully they will continue to do well in the game.

In the next segment, Malcolm felt good in his new tribe. He has the idol so he might have to use it. RC is bummed out about the new member of her tribe. Malcolm formed an alliance with Pete. They both have idols. Meanwhile, when the Kalbow tribe came back, Denise wanted to and hoped that she would fit in. Talks of an all female alliance were happening with at least one of the members. Dana was sick and might be the member who gets medically evacuated if someone does. Eventually the medical team had to be called into help with the situation. Hopefully Dana will last in the game, but she might not. She can continue into the game if she wants it to. Of course, the show cuts to commercial before we find out if she can continue or not.

In the next segment of the show, Dana decided to be taken out of the game. This makes her the second woman and eleventh player to be medically evacuated from the game of the Survivor. So a season featuring returning contestants that were medically evacuated from the game would have a player leave the game this way. It is sad and sort of ironic. Also, off topic, why are Christmas commercials airing? Guess I'll have to start counting the commercials that happen before Christmas like I do every year. Also, my sister and I are now engaging in a blogging war. Dana never got a torch in the game. The now two tribes were now competing in an immunity challenge. The losing streak of Tanding would cause for the first time one of the two overconfident tribes to attend their first tribal council. With Tandang at a member advantage due to the member removed. Tanding won a very close immunity challenge so Malcolm is safe on his new tribe. Tanding has never lost a challenge (although they have come in second). The poor Kalbow tribe would lose two members in this episode. Hopefully it isn't Denise, the odd one out. That would be the obvious choice, but I don't expect any obvious events to happen in this season. I mean, they haven't really yet.

In the next segment of the show, the red tribe returned from the challenge preparing for tribal council. Katie might be the person voted out for her poor performance in the challenge. Will Denise cheat death? Denise made a split second decision to join an alliance of three that needed her. It would be very funny if Denise turns out to be the swing vote. Who will fall victim to their first tribal council? Denise might not actually be the person voted out of the game. The only person with an idol on this tribe is Jonathan, so he is the only safe person. Dawson is a very strange individual who just might get voted out because strange players never seem to make it that long in the game. It is between Katie and Dawson. Who will be voted out? The tribal council didn't have much information revealed in the game. Poor Dawson is too dumb and pretty much buried her own grave in the game. I'm sorry Dawson if you are reading this. But she was voted out in a blindside. Hopefully the two women of Kalbow are doing better in the game in the future.

What will happen next time? They did a bad promo so we'll find out what happens then. All I know is that it will be interesting. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.

Episode 25.4

I predict that this will be the last episode with three tribes and the next episode will see them dissolved into two tribes. This is around the point the tribal dissolve happened in Survivor All Stars so it might happen now this season. How could it last longer in the game anyways? Also, in case you are wondering why it takes so long to update my blog, I don't always have that much free time to publish these blog posts. My online life must be very confusing. I have five different email addresses. So I hope that this will be a good blog post in the end and hopefully you will see it very soon. Also, Jeff Probst, if you are reading this, I'm glad that you responded to a tweet of mine. I watch your talk show whenever I can and normally don't get tweets from famous people like you. Do you read my blog as well? Can you follow me on twitter? I know this is highly unlikely as I'm merely a Survivor fan and wanna be contestant blogging about other people who actually have the guts to play the game. I'm not even sure that I could pass the physical that I'm sure all contestants go through before being on the show. But it doesn't matter if I'm never a contestant. In fact, I'd probably never want to play a game that seems less dangerous to the viewers than it actually is to the contestants. I do not believe that Survivor is scripted in any way shape or form (that would be illegal). I do, however, guess that the producers are required to input whatever decisions they need to make when the game goes wrong. But I don't believe that they butt in frequently. Also, to the KPLR-11 fans in St. Louis: were you annoyed by the obvious edit in the Jeff Probst show that I noticed? (They were talking about circumcision in the show and if women can feel a difference during sex between those men who have been circumcised and those who haven't.) I should follow them (KPLR) on twitter, if they have an account. But enough of my ramblings. I need to talk about the show Survivor.

In the first segment of the show, Matsing is having trouble with their fire. Everything is wet and the tribe of three is doing horribly. I still wonder what Denise knows about sex that I am absolutely clueless about. What is a sex therapist anyways? Do I even want to know? But back to the game. Russell is still very bummed out that he isn't put on the majority tribe like he was last time in Samoa and his quote, "I almost died for the game the first time," is becoming a favorite by him.

In the second segment of the show, the yellow tribe had a bit of turmoil created by the people on the tribe. Two people knew about the clue to the idol. One of them found it and shared it with someone else. The man Abby shared it with just happened to place a clue in the tribe thing and Abby was surprised when her tribemate, who already knew about the clue, read it again as if she didn't know about it already. The red tribe is slowly crumbling and a war of the genders might happen soon.

In the third segment of the show, Malcolm talked about how he didn't like Russell. What he said was very accurate. Russell isn't self-aware of anything in the game. Russell even pointed out a funny moment. It makes me convinced that this show has the best editing of any and all TV show on television right now. Meanwhile, his tribemates are getting suspicious of Russell and the fact that he may or may not have an idol, which we now that he doesn't yet. I don't know if anyone on this tribe is smart enough to get it. On Tandang, Pete was talking about the trouble he has caused on the show with the idol clue and driving a wedge between RC and Abby. RC doesn't know what happened regarding the clue. My family thinks that Lisa would have gotten out first if the Tandang tribe had gone to tribal council first.

In the fourth segment of the show, the immunity challenge was played and sexism was shown when the tribes that could sit out the women made them all sit out. The only woman in the challenge is from Matsing. They are actually in the lead and if they don't win, it will be a problem for anyone in the show. Denise is a better man than the men on Matsing are. It looks like the red tribe will lose, but it is impossible to tell with their incredibly good editing. The yellow tribe won the challenge. The red tribe came in second. The poor Matsing tribe will go to tribal council again. Russell had an outburst after the challenge. I'd be surprised if Russell made it through the tribal council. I wonder what tweets he has about this moment. Hopefully, nobody will become the first Survivor contestant to be expelled from the game. That's never happened and I hope that it never will.

In the fifth segment of the show, there was a sentimental moment shown with Russell who was bullied as a child. I predict that the two surviving members of the tribe will have to join the other two tribes by some means or form that the producers have probably already decided in advance. This season could come up with problems like in the tenth season I have already blogged about. There could be a three way tie and if no idol makes its way into the game on this tribe at this meeting. I don't know if the new members would be given automatic immunity on their new tribes (should that happen) or if that wouldn't be deemed fair to the contestants on that tribe. I've watched this game enough to know that there is always something that happens each season that has never happened before in Survivor history. A shutout like this hasn't happened since the tenth season and the tenth season started with two tribes and not three. This is the first tribe of three since Survivor: Panama, excluding the official final threes in the games history. The person voted out of the game was Russell, who was never voted out before. If there is some kind of twist.

In the preview of the next episode: someone might be medically evacuated and the tribe of two struggles. The red tribe might be the one losing a member that way. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.
