Episode 36.11

I’m getting less and less time to do this post. You see, I have a nighttime job at the moment. While I could set up a tape of this to record and blog about it later in the night, I’m not sure that I will do that at the moment. There are times that I can sleep in on Thursdays and that can be good. It used to be that the only show that I watched at 9 on Wednesdays was Designated Survivor, but now, I’m watching Code Black as well, giving me a lot less time to finish this post when I otherwise could. At least it doesn’t matter when I work my job. But enough of my ramblings.

In the first segment of the show, they think that Donathan wasted his idol. But I thought that he got a vote against him. Kellyn admits to having the extra vote. We are then at the reward challenge. Whoever wins gets a trip. This is when Jeff announces that it is a loved ones challenge. Wendell’s father is the one brought out for him. The older brother of Kellyn’s is brought out for her. Donathan’s aunt is brought out for him. Angela’s daughter is brought out for her. Chelsea’s sister is brought out for her. Laurel’s brother is brought out for her. Sebastian’s sister is brought out for him. Domenick’s wife is brought out for him. Sebastian wins the challenge. He picks Domenick, Wendell, and Donathan to go on the reward. He then picks someone to go to Ghost Island to get a guaranteed advantage in the game. Wendell decides to go and give up his loved ones visit.

In the second segment of the show, Wendell goes to Ghost Island and gets the secret advantage that Malcolm had won in Philippines, giving him a mulligan in the next immunity challenge. We then get to the reward challenge winners. Donathan does feel like he wasted his idol. He did get a vote against him, right? He would have been voted out if he played it on his ally, right? The women back at camp get all riled up against the men. They want to bring Donathan in. You do realize that there is a difference between a gay man and a woman, right? I’d join a woman’s alliance, but I’m straight. Would they know that I’d be part of their side? I've sided with women before.

In the third segment of the show, we get to the immunity challenge. Hold a ball in your hand to win. Kellyn is out first. Angela is out. Wendell then drops and everyone gets to go again. Wendell then drops again. Sebastian is out next. It comes down to Dom versus Don. The winner is Domenick. Kellyn gets a confessional after the challenge.

In the fourth segment of the show, Wendell feels secure in his alliance, even though he feels like he made a bad choice by choosing to go to Ghost Island. Domenick wants to go after Chelsea. The people in the woman’s alliance want to get Wendell out. But Wendell has an idol. He gets suspicious. Whose old idol does he have? Laurel doesn’t know which side to stick with or trust. But the decision is everything, according to her.

In the fifth segment of the show, we get to the tribal council. Kellyn admits at tribal that she had put two of her votes on Laurel. Donathan says that there are cracks in the majority alliance. They found a way into a crack. Anal? Domenick is now really worried about what all could be going on. Kellyn says that everyone’s brains should be on high alert right now.

Chelsea thinks that it is a giant game of bumper cars that is going on now. Are bumper cars a game, though? Donathan thinks that there could be a blindside tonight. The jets are going to have their kicks, tonight. The votes are cast. No idols are played. Is that a good move? Chelsea is voted out. For being a challenge threat, she sure wasn’t seen much.

On the next Survivor, Domenick seems to be caught red handed doing something bad. And that is why Donathan appears to be swaying the game back and forth. He sways the game back and forth. I just hope that the swaying isn’t as dumb as the intro to the movie Permanent or the rest of the movie was. If you want to read my review of the lame movie, check out my CSI: Cyber blog.

Total confessional count: Donathan- 18, Laurel- 15, Sebastian- 7, Angela- 7, Chelsea- 4, Domenick- 28, Kellyn- 25, Wendell- 17.

New confessionals this episode: Sebastian- 0, Angela- 0, Chelsea- 1, Domenick- 2, Kellyn- 5, Wendell- 3, Donathan- 2, Laurel- 2.

Chelsea had just one confessional this episode, which was more than Sebastian or Angela. Everyone else is higher than them with Kellyn as the highest with five. As for total confessionals, Chelsea had the least with just four. Sebastian and Angela are tied for second lowest with seven. Everyone else is higher with Domenick as the highest with twenty-eight. Is now the part of the game when those with lower counts of confessionals get voted out? Or will a power player be the next to go? These questions and more may be answered on the next Survivor. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.
