Why’d You Have to Go and Make Things so Complicated?

As we gear up for a new, upcoming season of Survivor, we have to wonder just how complicated things will be in the end. We got more twists and turns in the modern Survivor than a lot of roller coasters have most of the time. This is what Survivor is now. Should it really be this complicated?

With Survivor doing all sorts of things to become crazy and entertaining in ways never seen before, it is difficult to simply play a game anymore as simple then as it is now. While people can still play an under the radar game, not have idols or advantages, and can still win, the complicated game can overshadow that. But that’s not what all is going on for sure.

What is known is that some game play is harder. You don’t always know what is going on. You don’t even know if everyone will be able to vote. You can’t rely on simple things in this game anymore. And this is how producers like Jeff (or maybe just him and not everyone) want the show to be. They want there to be complicated things going on all the time.

Why is it this way? Well, it might be hard to say for sure, but can be easy to guess actually. The people who do Survivor don’t want the game to be easy. They want it to be complicated so that players don’t know what to expect or see coming. They want fans to be talking about it, even if bloggers tend to always complain about such strange new twists. And they don’t want this to be predictable.

There’s not much else to say. I have finally seen the first ad for the new Survivor season. I’ll have to check when the cast is released, if it hasn’t been already. I think that I should be working more and harder on some aspects of this blog to make sure that posts are ready in time. You might also have to check out this other site I haven’t used in a while to see something that you wouldn’t see anywhere else. I can only hope that I get two more posts on old seasons done soon as in this month. For now, this is Adam Decker, signing off.
